I’ve lived in Las Vegas since 1977 and the Golden Steer is indeed iconic; it hasn’t changed one bit. The ambiance and food quality are top-notch. A must do when visiting Vegas.
Dude, this is Man v Food territory... 👀I like a place he stopped into in between the highlighted spots: Ajua Si Señor, off Decatur Blvd near Lake Mead Blvd, featuring the "machete" quesadilla... boy, is that loaded! Way off the Strip, he ain't lyin'!
Out of all the video reviews on Golden Steer, yours is the Best!! You ordered everything, which the others dont. You're very enthusiastic, which makes for a watchable video. I had fun watching you. Nice Job! We cant wait to go. How in the world did you get a booth for one?? I hear they're hard to get booths.
I have been there several times. It is amazing every single time. Every booth is themed. I love the Marilyn Monroe booth. Don't forget to try the cold seafood platter. One of the best. EVER. Their steaks.. yeah.. really good, but the seafood and caesar salad is where it's at. The shrimp cocktail is to die for. I have yet to be let down here and I have been at least a dozen times.
Lobsters and king crab looked delicious. The fatty raw steak made me ill looking at it. Thanks for the recommendation and I would eat at the Golden Steer Steakhouse when I am in Vegas.
I haven't had Shellfish since I was a kid, and didn't like the texture etc but every time I see Lobster or Crab now I drool and that was 35 years ago. I probably need to give it a shot
This takes me back to when you went to get a dosa at 4am in India and a fight broke out and you didn't even notice coz you were just enjoying your 4am dosa
I don't think I will ever be able to eat at this place in this lifetime, but oh, did that all look AMAZING. If I ever won the lotto, I'd go there just once just to say I ate at the Golden Steer--in the John Wayne room, of course.
there arent too many times where i watch some of these food channel and my mouth starts watering. but, after watching you slice into those meatballs.... that had me going LOL
I used to live in Vegas. This is my fave restaurant in Vegas. @ Sahara & LV South. The very best service ever! Great ambiance. Truly spectacular staff. We were just there on 2/4 & it never disappoints. The escargot is great also if that is your thing. Everytime-must go to Golden Steer. Make reservations.
I've dined at the Golden Steer Steakhouse. Their food is very good. But it's not the oldest steakhouse in Vegas. That distinction belongs to the Ranch House, which opened three years earlier. And it remains open to this day.
I've been Very Lucky and Have Visited Las Vegas Approximately 10-11 times. My point is I've never been only heard of Golden Steer Steakhouse. After watching this Video its Become, what's gonna be a Mandatory Restaurant 4 us to visit & Experience. I cannot wait 2 try this with my Great friends n Family!
Eaten there several times and it’s the best! My roommate bartended there and hooked us up with Shrimp 🍤 Cocktail Huge! Porterhouse 🥩 Lobsters 🦞 and Cherries Jubilee! The football sized potato got brought home with the steak bone 🍖 all for $300 and worth every penny
Why is the item pricing in your store so jank...? I don't understand how you rationalise some items being cheaper or more expensive based on the *image* you have printed on them. Never seen any other store ever do that, and for good reason -- it's bad business.
Actually Bob Taylor’s Ranch House is the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas! It’s way out in the north west far far off the strip, but it was opened in 1955. Golden Steer was opened in 1958! However it is the oldest steakhouse on the strip!
I ate atpst of the g eat restaurants I. Las Vegas. But my husband took me to the Golden Steer on our 2nd date. I fell for him over the juicy lobster we ate. Great food and Steaks. No it was never comped. But it was worth the price. Yum!!!😁
That steak place in Las Vegas may have a spot named for the Rat Pack, but during the Rat Pack's touring days, most places would not allow Sammie Davis Jr. to dine with the rest of the Rat Pack. Those were dark times.
Since you got married, you definitely appear to be all about high end dining. Not everyone is interested in Wagyu, lobster, caviar or Michelin stars...

Noice 👍👌
Mine too! Wow! So impressive!
It will not disappoint.
They better be for $10 a meatball haha
It still looks really good though, I'd pay it.
Same! I'd got to Vegas to eat at the Golden Steer and then see a Cirque du Soleil show afterward.
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Celebrated my 30th birthday there in the 90’s and have been hooked ever since.
Ugh watching this at night was a mistake. I'm so hungry rn
Keep a can of Sardines on the side, for those moments.😂
Tried this Golden Steer about a month ago and it was awesome! Great food, fantastic service and wonderful ambiance.
The amount of food he eats in one setting is unbelievable!!!
He probably pukes afterwards.
Steak and crab is by far my favorite combo👌

That lobster tail looked amazing. Thanks for the video.
Looks amazing. Wish I could treat myself to a $600+ meal like that one day.
Wanna know what's crazy, you can get a similar meal for 100 dollars at many places. This steakhouse is taxing because of its location aha
Im sure it was more than him there
Big lobsters are terrible
I can cook all of that at home at given sunday I’ll save my $500 left

I don't understand dunking wonderful seafood in butter. That type of seafood is spectacular without it.
Golden steer is hands down the best steakhouse that I've been to. Everything we have tried is amazing and well worth it. ....
Yea I don’t care for the rest I just came here for the lobster tails.
