Best of the unreleased tracks on TDoASP in my opinion. Both of the people with writing credits have their own musical projects, but I've not had a chance to listen to them yet. They seem to be a little more underground than some of the other writers chosen for this album. (Digging into the credits on WACK releases has uncovered a lot of great artists.) The bass line makes this one stick in your head and the completely off kilter nature of the rest makes repeat listens rewarding. And yes, Gacharic Spin also have their fair share of oddball moments, so it's a fair comparison when combined with a big bass part.
Such things remind me a lot of NDW - even Gacharic Spin often does. The "don't care about how you normally do music", don't care about conventions (called Punk ;) attitude, experimentation, innovation, use of modern and/or unusual tools/effects/ideas, development of own styles, even genres (or at least try), no angst of coming across as "weird"... I think this song would fit the mold. I sometimes ponder whether Gacharic Spin could be described as a (modernized) epitome of NDW, with musicians who actually understand music and can play their instruments ;)
Definitely weird 😆 but very creative. Agree on some hints of GS in parts - the bass was cool.
