You can argue that, I'd say a handful of anime, were in fact made in France. And if my memory is correct, Italy has also made/participated in the creation of a few.
Yes and no. Some animes (like Ulysses 31, the Mysterious cities of Gold for France or Reporter Blues for Italy. Or Ōban Star-Racers more recently) were co-creations. The concept and the design were made in Europe but the real animation was made in Japan. There's some cartoons made manly in Europe (Moi Renart for France, frex), although some parts were animated in South Korea, just like the Simpsons or the Spectacular Spiderman, but are often not called animes. The same way Arcane is made in France and isn't called an anime. It's a bit gate-keepish imo, because it's the same art.
As someone who had watched the first season of Attack on Titan when it came out and only watched the rest a few months ago, I'd highly recommend you go back to it until the end, it's one of those anime that's worth it. Especially if the first season managed to pick your interest, then you'll definitely like the rest I'm sure because it only gets better.
Hi ! I know that this is not that type of video, but I must say a lot of french people are anime nerds and in fact france is the second most consumer of anime and manga in the world after japan, so that explains a bit why there is so much french people in the comments !
I'm always surprised by those kind of videos, the songs are cut so short that whether the genre is your style or not, you can't have any serious impression of it. I'm pretty sure that some like Cowboy Bepop's, One Piece's, Saint Seya's or Mashle's could appeal to non anime fans but in this format people have hardly enough material to judge fairly. I like your videos by the way, it's just something I'm puzzling over.
in italy the most famous theme song of japanese cartoons (*) still today is that of Grendizer (renamed Goldrake in italy), broadcast on tv for the first time on the afternoon of april 4th 1978... and i was in front of the tv (in black and white) to watch it! that was the first japanese cartoon (*) imported in italy and it started what is known here as the golden age of the big robots, which lasted about 15 years. i know practically all the cartoons (*) mentioned in the video, from the 70s to the early 90s, but obviously with the italian theme song, often completely different from the original one, both in the text and in the music. (*) yes, they are called anime because they are japanese, but they are still cartoons.
The day i remember is the first diffusion of Saint Seiya on french televison, 10 years almost day to day after the day you mentionned (april 4th 1978/april 6th 1988) well, before that, i was a huge fan of Captain Harlock (Albator) (was in love with Emeralda), Capitan Futuro (Capitaine Flam), i didn't like Candy cause it was for the girls. Nowadays, everytime i hear the voice actress (Virginie Ledieu) of Saori Kido in Saint Seiya, i still think "Princess Athena !!!"
At 42 I fondly remember so many of them. Watched many of them in my childhood at german kids TV. Such a great time and always great to rewatch some of them on dvd/blu-ray. 🥰🥳 You definitely missed out something as many of those are not particularly targeted to child’s. Many of them are to a more mature audience or just layered to be received differently depending on the viewers age. Series like Neon Genesis Evangelion are hard too grasp and not something I would show someone younger than 12. and this applies to many anime series
non of my favorites in there, except for evangelion. you can watch ghost in the shell, samurai champloo, welcome to the nhk, they are great even for non anime watchers
Sir, can you react to the song from HERO284 - HANOMAN? This song has the theme of human concern for nature and the environment Oh yes, nice to meet you from INDONESIA sir😇🙏🏻
Shingeki no kyojin is named attack on titan in english, so it's normal that you know it as attack on titan
Almost all of the people reacting on RUclips watched and reacted to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure openings. And I watched all of them. Am I crazy ?

Growing up in europe, we had asian, european and american cartoons
It would be sick to watch you react to attack on Titan and finish the show. I assume you watched a season or two, but the story is complete now.
I think Otonoke > Bling bang bang born for 2024
The rpg game is "final fantasy".
