Thank you for bring us along! I know its a bit of work to coordinate the camera work while also trying to get a job done, but I have learned a few bushels from ya and your approach to farming is encouraging.
Back in my farming days, I made a similar arrangement for my 460 for an auto reset plow. It was very heavy for the bolts attaching to the tractor. The arms do not have to be so long. I made a plate on the differential case for a top link. Used it and fixed it until I could a tractor with a 3 point hitch. Had a box on the front for rocks to keep the front down to lift the plow.
Nice work! I’ve always wondered about using a brush hog as a two-point hitch in a pinch. So long as you know the ground you’re mowing and remember not to pick it up too high, sounds like you’ll be golden.
Looks like it worked pretty good, if your careful the raising of the back of the cutter should be okay. If someone else uses it that could be something to be concerned about. That said, I probably would be putting a top link on it, given the same circumstances. Good luck with it, I hope everything works out with it. Have a good day!

Seems like a success. Buying the top link kit sounds like a good idea 💡
Thanks - I’m looking at it.

Thanks! We’re going to find out…. 😎
Looks like a win! I have a pair of three-point adaptors similar to those for my 450.
Thx! Should add some versatility to the tractor…👍

You can get a part that slips around the cross rod on the lift arm like on the allis chamler and lets you have a top link
Could you please name who makes or sells such a thing?
do you have some information on where you got those 2 point adaptors ? a link or something?
