1965,66,67 aren't wheat cents, they are memorial cents.
I have a 1966 penny and both the sixes are upside down.
Never seen a wheatie in these years.. And you don't explain how rare that is! And you magically changed them to memorial reverse.. Amazing.

You are correct they are not wheat pennies. I believe the wheat pennies start with 1909 to 1958. He is referring to the Lincoln Memorial Cents which start from 1959 to1998. This is a fun hobby for me. I cannot believe the things I found going through rolls of pennies. I am a beginner collector and I have found so many different S pennies that I had to put them in a glass jar. Tons of 1969, 1955, and I have put all of my wheat pennies starting with 1909 through 1958 in separate containers. This evening I found 4 pennies that has a double ear. I also have 2 Spitting Horses. I found these beautiful pennies that looks like Linclon has a bad case of acne or you could call it bubbles. It is all over the pennies front and back. Let me use the penny terminology I learned. The front of the penny is called obverse and the back of the penny is called reverse. I hope I am correct in what I just mentioned. I also order some books on pennies, penny folders to put the pennies in, a penny scale, and assorted magnifying glasses. I have some pennies that I would like to get them appraised but I do not know where to begin. I do not know the procedure of how it is done. I would appreciate anyone's help in getting me started with this. I found so many Lincoln pennies that have different anomalies on them. Please Coin Collectors help a new collector. Where do I begin? I did not mean to go on and on like this. Thanks to all in advance. 2019😊

Wheat pennys were minted from 1909 to 1958. Wheat pennys are worth anywhere from 15 cents, to thousands of dollars. if you know what to look for. Lincoln memorial pennys were minted from 1959 to 2008. 1965,66 and 67 are only worth 2 cents. Because of there copper content. Therefore your pennys are worth 2 cents.
Have 09 -58 but no idea as to value them.

Never clean your coins! It takes any value they may have away...dealers can tell the difference.

@@minofishconner7926 It's not that simple..your coins have to be in a Mint State condition to be worth anything..just because they are older doesn't give them value..1944 and 1959 pennies are very common, so unless they look new or have some sort of error they're not worth grading, if the coins aren't worth the cost of grading them (say for $25.00 each)..then you're losing money..

Dude if there is not a mint mark it was made at the Philadelphia mint. Part of sms sets and the only thing that makes a 65 66 or 67 penny valuable is if it has a cameo look
