CoinHELPu Hello @ Good evening sir I am JoJo from Philippines I have hereon my pocket right now One penny dated 1977 D, I want to sell my Penny ,can you please help me sir
Enjoy your site, recently retired truck driver, decided to take up my old hobby, slot to take in,have recently found,69s 70s,,71s,,excited,have no idea of next step, getting graded, then selling
I know this is years later but thanks for keeping this posted…this help me identify a lot from this decade…I finally have a 1979-D rpm 001 southeast CCW…
I'm new to coin collecting and I've done a lot of "research" on RUclips and I keep coming back to you Daniel. You explain everything and I see you are passionate about coins.. Thank you❤
thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge with the world. being a neophyte, I appreciate your tutorials. they are informative, the history is awesome. your presentations also address so many questions , without asking. your delivery is perfect.
Hi. I would like to know if a coin has a number missing or faded or a letter is missing or faded does that change the value? because I have a few coins where the Iis missing in Liberty or the last number on the date is missing or it's faded. I also have one Lincoln penny from the 70s where the I is doubled and the L is doubled but nowhere else. And another question I would like to ask is what if the letters in God we trust goes way over the outside rim of the penny would that change the value as well? Do people desire these things? I'm just getting into the coin collection and I'm over 50 and I find it very intriguing and the more I get into it the more it intrigues me.! This my only addiction next to my coffee in the morning LOL I feel like a kid again doing this coin searching. I live in Canada but I prefer the interests of the American coins even though we have prettier paper money and withstands better than the US ..you guys have very interesting pennies. As well as dimes etc.. It's a real science to learn all this.
I found two 1982 small date American pennies, unfortunately they did not weigh more than 3 grams. However I do have a few 1982 that are 3.11 grams. It would be nice if one is small date. Once you find a small date which can be a little daunting to find you put it beside all the other 1982 s and you definitely can see the contrast between the 2s. It took me awhile but after a bit your eye is trained to see the small date. My question is if you do find a 1982 small date and it does not weigh over the three grams does that make it still at face value or do people still want the small date regardless at the weight?
I have a 1970 S large date with a satin finish, it hasn't been circulated just kept poorly when I seen this video I just went and took a pic of it to check and the 9 is thick and points down with a strong liberty is there anything there?

Hello Daniel. I appreciate your videos and I've learned a lot over the past 4 months. I got a 1930 s wheat penny w/ a slice from top of head down to bottom of his suit. Also, there is a small faint punched "s" between GOD and WE. Wondering if this is a manufacturer's error. Is there an email address to send a picture of it? I value your input. Thanks a lot!

Another great video, keep em coming, I love the detail explanation Daniel provides. I probably watch a dozen or so and learn something from them all, but from the ground up like a sure foundation, these videos are the best I've seen,
Outstanding educational video. I have been buying pennies from my neighborhood kids for 2.50 a pound all during Covid. Over 200 pound to separate. Daniel your videos are probably the best I've found on RUclips, ty I'm surprised how many IHPs have come in too. Lots of Canadian pennies showing up. I have been using William Fowler for Canadian pennies.
If I watched the same things 5 times,,,I would learn more each time. just in Penny's alone,It is mind boggling. This guy is a wealth of knowledge. And i appreciate what I learn from him.
You do a great job in explaining all the details of Lincoln cent. I'm a big fan of the Lincoln cent series an of you Daniel. Thanks for taking time out of your day to teach the rookies in the hobby.

There is so much and it weighs 3.1 with a wide A M. but that's not even the best part. I also want to say thank you for taking the time to explain things in some detail. And giving advice on where we could find more info if needed. I've been interested in coins all my life but just recently, I have got more serious about it. Thanks and have a great day.

Hi; I'm really enjoying your videos and wanted to say thank you very much! 1 question: Mint marks were hand punched separately from the rest of the coin? I'm imagining a guy with a hammer and a punch going down a line of thousands of coins and striking them individually (probably not, but it's an illustration for my question). In that case, wouldn't each mint mark be unique in its placement? And wouldn't each re-punched mint mark be unique? Unless the punch was a doubled-die I guess. I have a penny stamped on a thin planchette, 1978 no mint mark. The planchette is about half the thickness of a regular penny at about 1/32nd of an inch. The outside diameter is 18.5mm. A standard penny from what my calipers tell me, the thickness is about a hair under 1/16th of an inch and it's outside diameter is 3/4th of an inch. Now keep in mind this penny is a lil warn on the front but nothing to indicate the size differential. The back is detailed like a normal fresh penny and the front is somewhat smoother. Any ideas??
What a great channel. Being new, this is a channel to binge. Such great stuff for a knuckle-head beginner like me/us ( gotta throw my gal in too...I'll pay for it later i'm sure ). Thx Daniel. As has been said...a little knowledge is dangerous. If you're a beginner, please, please, please listen and learn before you do....
Are the coins you get out of boxes from the bank worth checking for errors/varieties. They are usually brown in color and are in circulated condition right?
They are but mostly for bragging rights that you found a DD or RPM. Unless you find something special like the 1972 FS-104 then monetarily it is not worth it.
I have this 1975 Lincoln cent- obverse struck by capped die,-brockage- reverse letters are mirrored is this a valuable. Coin, worthy of a certification?
Depends on what it grades, seems worth a submission to NGC, but might be worth a little over the submission fees. However it will be labeled for what it is.
Thanks for the info. I just started coin collecting. I know I'm late but its really fun to me and I watch all your videos 👍took a long time looking through coin after coin after roll lol BUT FINALLY found ONE 1956 D over D I think its called lol funny I was so excited cant wait to find more .....But thanks a lot I wouldn't know what to look for I'd it wasn't for your videos THANKS CoinHELPu 💯💯👍👍👍😁😁😁
I have a huge advantage working a register. I can put aside whatever I want from work and put back my own cash for what I take out instead of blindly buying into coin rolls for less definite results. As a result I have several mint error coins, some MS 60 at the least and possibly some DDO and other varieties once I buy a microscope. These last 2 days I pulled a 1990 mint error quarter, a 1982 DDO in good shape and today a 1918 P what penny and a 1940 D wheat.
Thank you so much for your teaching of these coins. My father use to collect coins and lately I have really been looking through all my coins and you are providing so much I need to know. I am going to post some of them so you can give me your opinion.
Now I got to get the wife out the house. I probably have 3,000 1970's pennies. I least I have most separated by decades. Anybody have a garage I can move in? LOL🤔

@@boydburkhart8191 Normal for dates to look weak there or be missing from die issues or struck through grease.
Now all the coin rollers are gonna find my pennies
