Daniel, another great video pal, your knowledge and passion for coins and collecting are obvious! Thanks so much for taking the time to educate and talk to us about the hobby we all love 👍
Daniel, thank you so much for your time, info and everything else you do for the coin community. I love your videos as they've taught me so much. Your also very handsome and nice to look at
Hey Daniel, I found a 1998 WAM yesterday. I'm not concerned with its monetary value because it was such a thrill to find it after watching your video. I posted it on CHU Community just to get personal verification. Thanks again for the videos and CHU Community. Also got my eye out for that elusive 96.
This is the best descriptive video I have ever seen on this topic. It finally makes sense to me. I may actually be able to recognize one of these coins now. Thank you!
Thank you! Just looked through a jar of cents and pulled out all the red ones. Out of three 98's, four 99's and four 2000's, I found 1 wide AM 98. Even has the different FG. Never looked at cents before - how cool to find something a bit rare.
Daniel Idk how many times I've watched this video I keep refreshing my memory using it as a reference guide. Your kindness in sharing your knowledge is much appreciated. However you are a part of what in my case is fast becoming an obsession instead of just a cheap hobby that I can cash out at face value anytime. I have big ideas now of constructing a sorting table for coins to separate them by year date first then work each date and mint while referencing material before then putting the ones I don't keep back in the financial system. You may need to start up a rehab for those who become addicted to this. Perhaps a video or disclaimer might be in order.
Good job Daniel I saved this as to watch a few times. You made it simple but I make things hard so I figured if I watch it enough I will remember. Great topic as usual. Daniel wishing you a great day from Florida.
Glad I researched all of your vids, especially this one! Even though this was out about a year ago, today is the day I confirmed my recent finds! (2) 1992 cams (in pretty good condition), a 1998 Wide am & a 2000 wide am. Still looking for that 1996. crossing my fingers! Momma needs a home of her own!!!! Have a good night!
There's also Wide "AM" for the 1988 and the 1988-D ! I found an '88 WAM in a beautiful BU condition not long ago! Just a little heads up, while you're checking your change!
Its not so bad if you have a good aystem. I organize by decade, refresh the key dates of that period, then try to stick to one year at a time, so I can focus on one peculiarity at a time, certain years like '82 get weighed so copper is separate from the zinc junk, then start running through with obvious keeper, look agains and cash in piles. Bada bing bada bang. Its a pita if youre all over the place decade wise.
That's a good thing for those of us that take the time to do it. That puts potentially valuable coins back in circulation for someone else to find. It's a relaxing (and sometimes rewarding) hobby. I set aside short blocks of time to sort coins. It works for me. Have a great day my friend
Simply wow after watching this video I am mediately sent it to my mother and father who are also slight coin enthusiast, and told them that this is by far the best nine minutes at work I have had in two years. I immediately felt more knowledgeable overall had more clarity into the differentiation between these nuance varieties and was able to confirm and deny a couple of coins I have that I wasn’t exactly sure about. Bottom line you did an absolutely wonderful job and thank you so very much for the informative video also thank you for confirming the fact that I have an actual 1992D close AM it’s also red with very very very few cosmetic dings after looking at what some coins get 65s and 66s for I wholeheartedly believe it should be that or pretty darn close I will absolutely follow up with pictures and the outcome of the sale/auction/show and tell party with friends whatever it may be but in large part it was because of this video giving me the confidence to trust my gut and look a bit harder and understand that it actually is too good to be true for once YAY!!! Cam!
I know this video is from three years ago I’m wondering how you made out? Maybe you’ll see it maybe you won’t. I hope it turned out well for you in any case!

@@CoinHELPu Teach sometimes they look close or wide especially the 90's being the font, you really got to tilt it to see it is wide, many time I thought wide till I moved them around all angles perhaps you might do a clip on this cause the font can fool you.
