    I have several 1951 1952 and 1953 proof sets it's the whenever I can buy them at a good price I'm all over it especially in that original government packaging it's the perfect category for me because they're not super rare that they're wicked expensive but also not so common that they're easy to find finding cameos aren't as easy as one would think

    Lots of great info Daniel.. Thanks. Kinda weird because 2 days ago I received a 2019 W PF 69 RD Rev. Proof First Day of Issue Shield penny graded by PCGS. Since it was only $20.20 shipped, I got it because it was unique. Off topic, but I also got a NGC MS69 RD PL First Day of Issue for the same reason.

    That’s exactly my point that I had made in money your other videos is they’re not consistent with the grading to make sense of what they’re doing in this 92,002 S clearly looks like the better Coin to me than the other one so I don’t understand it that’s why I said in one of your videos that they need to come up with something that’s more details and how the grading the Coins so when we send these things and we have a better idea because it seems to me it’s like shooting the lottery it shouldn’t be like that if they’re going to grade it under a system and that’s just my thought on that I love the video so great points that you make thank you

    I am so educated and listens to every word that you speak, l also pay close attention to the photo examples you show. It truely puts me at a stand still and frightening, because I ACTUALLY HAVE A LOT OF THOSE COINS, with mint marks and without in the exact years you were speaking about, from 1937, 42 44, 46, 58, 60 and up, as I said with mint marks and without. These all have been circulated for me to have them, not in the best conditions do to being pitched arourd and in a 5 gal. water bottle saved. So I have been at a stand still just holding them for fear of wasting gradeing money and knowing the looks, stains and scratches they have even THOUGH I HAVE THOSE YEARS, I HAVE THOSE FEARS😨

    get 64 dimes at spot and look for doubled reverse if the dealer will let you pick through then you still have silver and maybe a double.they are more common then people think and there are other easy ones like early quarters like i think 41 and 43 washingtons.many others at spot silver price,but for obvious reasons the newer ones are in higher grades.

    In addition to your advice here, how about the following, for coins you're considering to submit... first submit all coins at a reputable but lower cost grader like ANACS. Then those which have a book price of $200+ or more with NGC or PCGS in the ANACS grade or better, to break them out of the ANACS case & resubmit with either NGC or PCGS???

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 лет назад +1

      I know some think that way but honestly there's just no way to know if there's a crossover. I think it would be better to buy common examples for the grades you're looking for then use those to help you grade before submitting.

And therefore many varieties may never be discovered because they’ve already been slabbed as regular coins.

    Once again my opinion of the top grading company goes in the tank! Your PR67 looks way better than your PR69. I swear I believe they've got some guy who sits there and says, "What's this? Another 1990 Lincoln proof cameo. Hmmm. Already gave out 2 PR70DCAM's today. It looks a little ...uh, what is that on the rim? Dust mite? No. Thought I saw a speck in the left field. No. (BELCH) Oook. My lunch was terrible today. Remind me to shoot my wife if she gives me a tuna sandwich again. Just the tilt glint of the light. Ehhh, better give it a DCAM69 anyway. Next!"

    Daniel, I love your videos! Thank you! Can you do a video showing the differences of cameo vs deep cameo on Lincoln proofs? I know in theory and looks the difference.... but it’s hard to actually designate it I feel. For instance you looked at this 57 proof and immediately said “it’s not cameo”... I guess I have trouble just recognizing that or designated what makes a cent proof regular vs cameo vs deep cameo.

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 лет назад

    When I was young back in the 60's my great grandmother lived with my grandfather and her father collected coins back in the 1700's thru 1800's and it was a massive collection, gold, silver and and even Confederate currency as well as European currency from the colonial era and everything in between, she died at 101 years old in 1970 and I wound up with almost all of it, I have most of this collection still today, it is actually priceless and depending who appraises the value is vastly different from different person to person. I could easily get well over 7 figures for it, I saw a video you made earlier about passing down a collection like I'm talking about and it changed my opinion, I'll probably sell it off and pass down the money instead of the actual collection, I'd rather see it go to a real collector than someone that don't understand what it really is and the history of it,

    Hey Dan I have a 1909 vdb red brown pretty nice should I send it to the graders

      How can I answer? I can't see your coin. Look your coin up using a price guide, then check the fees from the grading company. I have a video that answers this question. Search coinhelpu at RUclips.

    I saved most of your videos. Love them. I am just a starter on coin hunting. Do I have to clean my coins. I cleaned some of them already with vinegar with salt and thought of stopping because somehow I thought that it may not be right to that. Should I continue doing the cleaning or leave it the way it is? Thankfully for your response.

      No, don't need to clean your coins. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    What should valuable coins found in coin rolls be stored in? Currently I'm using 2x2's.

    Danial: Should I get these two penny Graded , The2017p and the 1981s I watch every one of your show, Please tell me what to do.Grade or no Grade.

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 лет назад

      I can't tell you. Both coins are common and are not worth that much even in the higher grades, so not worth the grading fees.

    Would the 1960 cent be a trial for the baking soda/ aluminum cleaning method? I haven't seen any copper coins being cleaned this way only silver, yet would it damage this copper cent?
