A lack of pokemon was never the problem with the game
Nintendo can, but at some point you have to let go, the decision makes perfect sense
Edit: I was wrong I thought they had to remake the models every time lmao
@@toast6375 no it doesn't their slogan is catch em all not catch 70% of them
@@NatsuNekuro 💀I'm dead
Nintendo know you will buy it only way to change it is not pre order, don't buy it from stores, e shop or anything else, let them set on the shelves in stores
This. This is what made HGSS and ORAS good remakes. Great remakes actually, because they didn’t just copy and paste everything, they actually did something new in their respective generations and regions.
You mean FRLG and HGSS. ORAS was mid.
@@APerson-co7er I think that's an unpopular opinion
@@mostlymarshall9210 Is it? FRLG and HGSS are flat upgrades, there’s no reason to go back and play crystal/rb other than wanting to take advantage of nostalgia. ORAS was an okay remake, but they took out the game corner, the battle frontier, and since it’s a R/S remake it doesn’t have both team magma and team aqua storylines, you have to pick. Sure, it added the delta episode, content from new generations, and gave Wally a sick theme, but it’s pretty fair to say that it has less replayability than emerald
@@APerson-co7er except it has every pokemon from gen 1-6 that wasn't in XY, has an upgraded story from RS (i consider ORAS' story on par with Emerald), has every QoL feature introduced since FRLG, and expanded on what is arguably the most liked battle feature, Megas.
@@APerson-co7er Dude ORAS is close to being my favorite pokemon game if it weren't for HGSS

As awesome as it is to see full sized Rayquaza following around surely you can understand from looking at it why they DIDNT do that in the first place XD
Same thing with the guzzlord, it would make more sense to add in accurate scaling if it was a bit more open
Fun Fact: The reason why mods are coming out so fast for this game is because the source code is exactly the same as the original games
it even contains the bugs of the original game (even if they were fixed in platinum)
They REALLY wanted to stay “faithful” to the originals, huh?
thats not a fun fact thats a lazy fact because it shows us the devs were just lazy
@@sheeeesh42069 fun for the modders

Gamefreak with millions: nah can’t be done

GameFreak didn’t even make these games. That was ILCA.

@@redrazorx-23 yes it does. They had nothing to do with this game.

@@redrazorx-23 they GameFreak team didn't develop the game and the only person from gamefreak that has anything to do with it is Junishi Masuda the head director of GameFreak
At this point the developers and everyone who was in the original project should hire these people who go out of their way to make games better than anything they could've done.
Yeah totally on the devs and not the insane crunch by executives
theyd probably get paid the same amount that they are now for twice the amount of work in half the time so- lets hope NOTTTTTTT
The Pokémon company and these modders have different goals. One is for fans and one is for funds. Always morally correct to rob Nintendo
@@theurbanreanimator7244ah yes because the devs haven’t shown themselves to be incompetent since 3D lmao
So, exactly what sonic did? And clearly it is working?
They should’ve added a lore reason to why Pokémon aren’t their real sizes, like some kind of invention called the pokewalker or something
Nintendo: doing less than the bare minimum
Fed up Pokemon fans: fine. I'll do it myself
Most pokemon fans are the biggest conformists youll ever met though
No Nintendo put in plenty of effort
@@floorpanel8749 TPC is a subsidiary of Nintendo, and Nintendo always puts effort into things, they can do no wrong.
@@personalover249 well either way, this game was half baked at best as have most Pokémon releases in recent times. Nintendos fault? Probably not..game freaks? Absolutely, and they’re even doing it on purpose

Nintendo needs to hire people with an insane passion for Pokémon like this.
They do, but you know they’ll just sue them into the ground instead.
They do hire people with passion, but the management that handles deadlines, workload, crunch and releases are what prevent passionate people (who often have dreamed their whole lives to have such a job) from being creative and build the games they wish they could build. They already made that, it's a mod that turns the game into what's essentially Legends Arceus but with an added twist in which you're a human instead of a Pokémon, that way it makes "playing Mystery Dungeon as a human instead of a Pokémon" finally possible, and because of that, we may already saw the first fan-made Mystery Dungeon games where you're a human instead of a Pokémon being made on SkyTemple, so that we can finally "play Explorers of Sky as a human instead of a Pokémon" for once.

When you try to open your pokeball in the poke center but you forgot how big it is...and its an ultra beast
You know, it’s a little upsetting when the fans can do what gamefreak can’t
Can't or won't?
They easily could, as Arakemi said. It's more about not wanting to. In classic pokemon fashion they want to make it as difficult as possible to complete the Pokedex (sometimes even impossible). And why are you complaining that bad to begin with. The game is made in Unity allowing for easy modding access. This is a big step from earlier pokemon Gens, where the code was extremely obfuscated. People also complained when Dragonite wasn't in sword and shield, do you also think that was because GameFreak lacked the knowledge on how to? No they just like to delay interesting stuff and release it down the line. This raises hype again when the game gets updated, and keeps the game in the loop by spreading controversy before the update is rolled out.
TL;DR: GameFreak or whoever probably purposely didn't put some Pokemons in the game. Like with Dragonite in Sword and Shield. This is to keep the game interesting for longer. And create hype again when they roll out the update.
L don't think ganefreak made this game
@@hryper FINALLY SOMEONE WITH IQ
Gamefreak didn't make the game. Makes it even worse.
It’s so sad BDSP is what it is. I was really looking forward to the remakes because gen 4 was my first Pokémon experience and I loved them as a kid, Platinum was ofc my favorite but I loved diamond/pearl too. When I finally played BD, my disappointment was immeasurable
So you got sad when you played the exact same game? Weird.
@@SirRavixofFourhorn it’s a remake. My expectations were it was going to be different from the original with new content added that we never saw in the original like in ORAS. Dumb comment
@@FizzyFizze So you saying dumb comment is supposed to make me feel cross huh? Maybe if I was 7. Listen here champ imma sit ya down and explain it to you since you obviously arent old enough to remember they took out alot of content in ORAS and the new things they added still didn't add up to what the original emerald release had in it. Along with the fact that besides the delta episode and not having the battle frontier it's also literally the same game just like BDSP. And by your logic they even added new shit to that one it has pokemon you never were able to access and the grand underground is nothing like it was and it actually has. Oh and it actually has post game content that's fun to go through unlike oras where it's literally just go catch legendaries. And don't bring up the battle resort that place is a joke just like the unnecessary and worse new champion they added. In short don't buy a remake thinking it's something different when what it is is literally in the name.
@@SirRavixofFourhorn not even the same game. They played Platinum, which was ALREADY a better version than Diamond/Pearl. The fact they they copied the worse version of the old game is what made me, at least, mad. At least use Platinum as the base (and just adapt the legendaries and exclusive pokemon)!
I literally just went and replayed my Platinum game. There’s no reason to play BDSP if you have access to Platinum.
@@Fernandanatac Well I don't have the money to play full price for a discontinued handheld and still full price game. So I'm happy with my purchase and that's okay. Just like it's okay for you to prefer platinum. That's the beauty of Pokémon fans alot of people love games in the series that others don't.

Pokemon BDSP... one letter and you've got a WHOLE different game

The Rayquaza is really cool but unnerving to look at. Then I got to the last part lol
Ya know what if we had a pokemon game spanning all regions, with all pokemon, and deep lore
Who actually cares about lore and story in a Pokemon game lmao, it's all about numbers and skill.
Someone made a whole ass mod where you just play as kirby and it’s got me wanting to mod my switch just for these games lol
I always forget how good looking BDSP is, even tho I have 130+ hours in the game
Developers of Pokémon games: no, we can’t put every Pokémon in our newest game! There’s not enough room, it would be impossib-
Random modders: hehe every single Pokémon to ever exist go brrr
The thing with the dex cut is definitely something
Since I was nine (2014 Gen 6 and 721 pokemon were out) the most prominent meme has always been "'Gotta catch them all'? Hell no! There's X hundred of them!"
The _bad_ thing with the Dex Cut wasn't the cut itself, but the lies that came with.
They said they would be cutting half of the pokemon for time and to add better animations.
They didn't do that.
However, it's not uncommon when a new game comes out that people would post their teams on reddit and such, and the amount of times I have seen Lucario, Gardevoir/Gallade, an Eeveelution, etc is abismal
And with those I can't stop thinking
"Wow. You *completely* ignored the whole point of a new generation."
Don't get me wrong, I love the Eevees and Gardevoir, but I can't understand why you'd go to _Paldea_ to use them...
What they should've done is what they were planning to do for RSE and did for BW. Have only (or at least mostly) new pokemon in the entire story. Leave the others for transferring or postgame
@@ARandomMinecraftVillager true I have the bad impulse of always getting familiar Pokémon because I know what to expect from them meanwhile there can be some pretty cool new Pokémon to use.
It's awesome that this game being developed the way it was has made modding way easier for modders than with previous games
WHERE ARE MY ALIEN BOIS FROM THR FILM SET

I will never understand why Nintendo doesn’t find and immediately hire these people.
Because some japanese People are extremely overly traditional and Game Freak is a small studio of like 20 people. And neither Nintendo nor The Pokemon Company has anything to do with the games. The games are wholy Game Freaks businesse and... well... it's still the same 20 people than 20 years ago and these guys barf out a new game every year so... even if they wamted to, they can't finish any game properly and since they for some reason are dead set on staying the same group of programmers it wilm never change...
@@rasendestroyer2701 Gamefreak does have mroe than 20 Devs. You can literally see in the credits that all 2D Pokemon games have about 100 Devs working on it and the 3D ones 150 Devs working on them. So they DID increase the Devs with the 3D games, just not enough. And they are for sure not the same people, as you can see in Online Reviews of people leaving frequently. And BDSP wasnt even made by Gamefreak in the first place, just Masuda was supervising them and forcing them to stay at this direction
Modders be like: Fine..I’ll do it myself.
It makes sense that this would be technically possible, the way Pokémon is set up it would be self sabotage to have each Pokémons info hard coded as a massive static list, and would make far more sense to have them as modular chunks (they way you would for object oriented programming) this would mean that the code that refrances the info for Pokémon would be set up to handle any package of data that fits the format it uses for Pokémon including Pokémon not originally programmed into the game
The guzzlord just blocking everything at the end really gives scope
That ending 💀💀💀
Applauds*
Man imagine the game was like this would’veben one of the best Pokémon game
There's one mod that recreates the entirety of Legends Arceus but with an added twist that makes it so that you're a human instead of a Pokémon, therefore making "playing Legends Arceus as a human who didn't got turned into a Pokémon", and by extension, "playing Mystery Dungeon as a human who didn't got turned into a Pokémon" possible, so one way we could see a recreation of Explorers of Sky but with an added twist that makes it so that you're a human instead of a Pokémon, so that we can finally "play Explorers of Sky as a human who didn't got turned into a Pokémon".
I can’t wait until they decide to make a remake of Black & White, that’s something to look forward to in the future. Explore the 3D Unova Region.
A couple years ago I was excited, but nowadays I'm just wondering what they'll do to ruin it :(
@@Mick-hp4yg I hope not. They ruined Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Nightshade is the second plant obtained in Modern Day in Plants vs. Zombies 2. He will slap any zombies in front of him with his leaves every 4 seconds but can only do this three times and can only do so at close range. If powered by either Moonflower, Conceal-mint, Gloom Vine, or Noctarine, not only can his leaves actually be fired in Appease-mint-style formation, but he also gains the ability to regrow said leaves every 5 seconds, effectively turning him into a long-ranged offensive plant instead of a melee plant. However, thrown leaves do less damage compared to leaves slapping a zombie
It's honestly crazy to me that modders do this stuff every time, and Nintendo doesn't decide "Hey, maybe we should just do that kinda stuff ourselves.." Lol
