I am 37 years old. My beard started going gray rapidly 3 years ago. I was under a lot of stress the last 3 years so i think there is definetly a link between stress and your hair (beard) turning gray. My beard use to be black-dark brown. Now with a lot of gray its kind of salt-pepper look. I personally think it makes me look old(er) and the beard doesnt look as strong as before. Generally people think it looks good on me but I like the dark beard better ...
In primates, humans included, gray patches in beards showed dominance to males and females alike. The simple fact that you survived to the ripe age of graydom meant you had resources and wherewithal to survive and withstand environmental pressures. It looks like some of that is still hanging around today.
I'm 66 and only started growing my beard 8 months ago. It grows slow (everything I do is slow) but I like it. Let me repeat, I like it. I'm growing it for me and me alone.
I think I'll show your comment to my wife. She does not like my beard. I keep it clean, neat and trimmed, and it has a good shape for my face. Like you, I'm keeping it. @@russell6777
My beard is gray, and I am not coloring/colouring it. My beard was 30 cm, until yesterday . I trimmed it to 2 cm last night. It was way too long and I was tired of people telling me I looked dirty, poor, homeless or the like.
Ive had salt and pepper beard since 30 I dyed it for years now my head hair and beard are salt and pepper and I shaved everything off last year and im growing my beard back now and Im just gonna embrace it like my dad does the bald spot
Beard oils aren't necessary if you use a good hair conditioner. They can also cause skin breakouts, allergies, stained clothing and pillowcases, and they taste horrible when they migrate into your mouth over a few hours.
I started graying towards my late 20s. By the time I was 36 the graying had escalated to the point I started dyeing my hair and beard. I recently got tired of dyeing and kinda just left it. I am 48, fitness enthusiast, and I have great skin, in good health with a body many younger men would envy. To my shock, some much younger women think I look cool. I have two daughters and I would never have affairs with much younger women
If u were a good looking guy to begin with, yes, salt n pepper can look good. If u were ugly, salt n pepper beard makes u an ugly guy with salt n pepper beard. I grow mine not to look like Brad Pitt or Clooney, but it hurts to shave everyday, n my wife of 30 yrs loves me regardless of how I look.
So what is that Chemical from the French study called?? I have a mix of colors. And love the grey strands. But i would like to stretch the other colors as many years as possible
I have grey streaks in the front of my beard and everyone always thinks I’ve dyed it that way lol no complaints and they all say no to dying my beard brown 😎
If you live your life based on what women think you will never reach your full potential as a man.
@Eye Self How true! Besides, 1st Corinthians 11:9 says that woman was created for man, NOT the other way around!
@Jon A the bible is fairy tales
Living your life according to what women think, will leave you confused
Many men would kill to have a totally grey or white beard, it shows wisdom and yes, women like it 👍🏆.
Shits
True!

Facts, I literally greyed out in the last 3yrs, from 41-44 my present age.
And it was certainly due to crushing stress.
I feel ya 😢
I'm 52 years old. I have plenty of grey hairs with black and I rock it very well.

If you live your life by what people say then you need too change be your own person you will be happier
Grey beards (and hair) are very attractive!
Gray and shiny works for me
My beard pops when it is dyed. Lines show better, beard looks healthier & thicker! Gray makes my skin look washed out.

I’m 65 I’ve been growing my beard for a year, I got pushback from my wife and mother, but like you I grew it for me , I love it and it staying

Yes they are. Grey beards are the sexiest

I have been thinking about it. One guy at work put some dye in his beard and it looks way better. Got me thinking about it again.
i cant wait until my beard turns grey i think it looks awesome i have a few grey hairs already.

A great beard with a good smelling beard oil is hot AF.

This is a very weird comment, bud.

I’m 37 years old. You see what I’m rocking lol. Before the study says between 45-66 so maybe I’m lucky or extremely stressed lol
I started going gray in my late 20s women say it looks great on me because i have a young appearance im 43
I just gave up dying it. To much work. It’s mostly white now
My gray (salt & pepper) is more like unintentional and I like it that way; I do shampoo, condition, oil and brush but no pretty barber line please.
I think it depends on the person, some men look good with gray beards, and others don't.
Well I was told the gray in my beard would be attractive if I was more attractive so I reckon it depends on the man is hooked to
I'm 42 years old and have one of those "salt n pepper" beards. I didn't even know this was thing until recently.
"One on this side" 🤣
Grey is cool rock what you got
So what is that Chemical from the French study called??

I sure the heck hope women like grey beards 😃. I think I'm going to lose them on not being short.
Thought about dying my beard, for about a second 😂
Be authentic and dont worry what women say.
My girl hates beards and mine is all grey due to stress so it's worse and she causes the grey I'm only 57 also so I'm screwed either way
Embrace it. Gray is stellar
I would not call them grey but silver beards and don’t grow it to please others grow your beard to please yourself
Great video brother……..thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Are you the phd guy? Andy
I was waiting for “hello my PHD friends” 😂
If you keep your gray mane sharp of course its a chick magnet.
Mine is!
Im gray in hair and beard and im only 32 😭😭😭😭😭
I am like you friend😭
I suppose men that don't want a grey beard go clean shaven.....
What about if you're bald lol
@@Islam_is_the_truth.4 Despite what many will say, you don't need a beard if you're bald. There's nothing wrong with the Vic Mackey look.
@@danielsmith7048 Thanks bro

You can always tell when a beard is dyed, especially when it starts to grow out. If you dont keep doing it is obvious
My wife can't get her hands out of my Gray beard. Lol
