Hi, I tried this on my hair and not my beard, I'm a girl lol, before my shower. And added some hair conditioner. My grey hair is super glossy and silver this morning! I love it! It looks like I have silver highlights with my dark hair! Great recipe! Thanks!
I just got a ketchup stain in my handlebar ‘mo today. It wz embarrassing and I couldn’t wait to get home and wash it out. I’m definitely going to try this to make my silver shine! Glad to found this channel!
Mr. Bailey thank you for your information, you have the kindest voice I've heard in a long time and this info will help me with my dad. Thank you again.
Thank you....I have had 15 years of hard water (iron) build up on my white hair. I had a softener installed finally and in the last month I have had 4 malibu hard water treatments done and my hair was still bright yellow. The iron apparently stained my hair. I hate being called blonde, no offense to blondes...., but I love my naturally beautiful white hair which i have had since i was 20. I tried this once so far and the yellow is almost gone. I am going to let my hair rest for couple weeks and do this again, which I know will remove that last of the yellow. Your wisdom has restored my hair to its God given beauty. Thank You!
Yes Paul, it works and works well. I usually depending on mustache stains and soul patch stains once a week; I freaking love sloppy wings. Generally I leave it on maybe 15 minutes or so which is about the time it starts to dry and flake off. Then I just wash or co-wash with coconut oil. I've been doing this since I seen this video.
@Chip - hi.. Im a lil' confused with the 'paste', I make it up, it looks crumbly - similar to what we can see in the video - when I rub it into my hands it becomes a dusty chalk! the video doesn't have the 'toothpaste' effect, and neither does mine... could you describe with any comparison what this 'paste' should be like at the end result... oh and do you apply it to a dry beard, or wet? thanking you in advance...
Thank you so much , can't wait to try , mine is yellowing from smoke and hair care products..I let mine go grey , salt n pepper , I'm honor of my passed mother ..Her hair was beautiful..My son's friends 23 yrs old are getting their hair colored ..to look like mine ...first video , i've seen on how to keep it and not cover it up ...cheers & 👏👍 buddy ..Dante to get rosemary oil at store tomorrow.. I'm so happy to have found this home remedy ..😃♠💯
I have a salt a pepper hair and beard. I find that if I put hair color on my beard it really softens the hair and my beard becomes very manageable. The problem is it also turns darker which is not he natural look I'm after. I wish i could have that same healthy feeling hair with my natural color. Thanks to these videos I am on my way. I love my beard look forward to longer growth. Thanks.
I use this paste on 😊my silver, curly hair. I also use it as a tooth paste, substituting rosemary oil with clover oil. Btw, rosemary oil is excellent for hair growth.
I cant believe I'm watching this, over the last 10 years I have never had a beard more then 3 weeks as the just for men dye reacted badly with my skin , who wants a beard with grey in it? Fast forward to 2021 and I'm amazed how many young women in their twenty's who dye their hair grey its like grey is the new black. After 5 weeks of no shaving my facial hair is 95% white and loving it , going to try for a yeard.
George, My present beard has been trimmed, but unshaven for 25 years.I shampoo it 2 to 3 times a week. It is only within the past month that I have used beard oils or balms. I have grown and shaved my beard many times in the past 60 years. Currently I have decided to "Just let it grow" to see what develops. It currently measures 4.75 inches from the bottom of my lower lip. In the past (1994-1995) IT reached a length of approximately 8 inches. Currently my plans are to pass that length.
Every time I grow mine out a considerable length I feel like my face needs air so I always end up trimming it down. If it ever got cold enough long enough I may be able to pull it off.
I started drinking a lot of Koolaid Tropical Punch so my beard and mustache are frequently caught in the middle. It was frequently blotting and washing, which worked, but now I'm starting to get a reddish brown stain. I appreciate the recipe and advice.
I have grown my beard since I was 18, now I´m 57, beard color changed from dark brown (almost black) to different shades of grey now, silver grey to white, so I´d like to unify the color to white shade so I hope I´ll manage it with your advice. Many thanks from Serbia !
Definitely going to try this. My beard started turning gray about 5 years back and definitely not full gray yet but gonna try to brighten the white and grays I do have using this. Thanks brother.
Finally got a few grey hairs in my beard none on my head yet, just waiting impatiently, thought this might help, over 40, but people still look at me and ask if I'm in my twenties. I may try this in my head and on the hairs on my beard. Thanks
I'm gonna make some. I use Jolene to whiten my beard. Yes when a beard mustach is bright white, instead of a yellowed white, it really does make a better appearance
Hello Gray, Great idea with the brightener. I think it's the way to go if you're all white/gray. I have a beard that is now mostly but not completely gray/white but I want it to be all white. How should I go about doing this? Please let me know. Thanks again.
This was great! My problem with my white beard is that there is still some black so I am researching how to clear that out before Christmas. But regardless of that, I'm excited to try this concoction you've shared with us, and I like how you show how to get the consistency just right. And the rosemary is interesting, it must smell really good!
I love this mixture, but not only for hair, also for the skin. But for the skin I don't use peroxide, just baking soda and olive oil or almond oil or rosemary oil ... It's the best exfoliant. My skin is always soft like velvet!
Will also use this on my dog, she sadly leaks urine because of diuretics. She has the most beautiful black & white coat. It has yellowed on her culottes even though she is washed every other day. We'll see if it works.
🍵Hello I am a new subscriber to your channel" I love it "....I have One question ..The "VO5 "in the tube the for gray hair....is this a Good Product... will it leave a sticky buildup??? Please Reply...Thank You!!! Looking Forward to next Tutorial🍵
I've grown out my beard again since the last lock down. I have some white but it's brilliant enough for now. My hair is about half white and I've been using an old bottle of One and Only Argan Oil, Clarifying Shampoo and that completely removes any yellowing. It's hard to find now but what do you use on your hair to keep it looking sharp?
I have a dark brown beard but my chin area is silver would using this cause an issue with the part of my beard that is brown? love your tips and outlook on life thanks!
Hello! Tell me how to make a beard gray. My beard grows in more than one strand. I want to make your beard gray. I tried your method with baking soda, peroxide and rosemary oil. I use it once a week. The result is negative. Doesn't brighten. Help. Give me a good recipe. Thank you.
Thanks, Sultan. You’re a great instructor. If it doesn’t bleach, is it creating a temporary lustrous coating? How long does it last? Not sure it’s worth the effort if it’s temporary. Kinda like teeth whitening when you still drink coffee?!
Hey Mr. Bruno if you don't have rosemary oil could you used peppermint oil instead? Or do it definitely have to be rosemary? My beard is black with a reddish tint. Would this mix turn it completely white or silver cause that is what I am going for?
This will not bleach or change the color of your beard. It is the fix for facial hair that is already grey/white. That has become dull or stained from food, hard water, or smoking. You did watch the entire video, right?
I don't have a beard, lol ,I'm a woman. But I'm gonna try this on my silver/ white hair. Wish me luck. Hope it works. Tired of using the purple shampoo.
Did it work on your silver/white hair? If so, how did you apply it - hair wet or dry? How long did you leave it in? Purple shampoos don't work on white hair. Tried many. Thanks for the reply
@@pekoe46 Actually, I've been using a lavender colored natural hair dye and it leaves my hair a bit lavender y and then as it washes.out it's silver for quite a bit. I bet it probably works but it's probably super drying. A good deep leave- conditioner would probably help though.
I value your opinion and want to know something. I am 48 years old and have naturally silver/white hair and beard (completely). If I don't dye my hair and let the beard grow out I literally look 65+ and get hit on by grannies. If I shave and dye my hair 20-something girls flirt with me. It is a lot of work to dye and maintain a constant look, and it also strikes me as excessively vain to do so. Should I go natural or try to stay looking young. Mind you, I don't have a single wrinkle, have an athletic build, and live a healthy lifestyle.
Dude you described me. I'm not into the grannies or the young chicks. A smart beard and hair style and you end up attracting women that are peers. I attract the most beautiful 50-something women every day. Never an issue. I tried coloring once or twice and absolutely hated it and no one could've stopped me from doing it but I had to learn the hard way.
So the peroxide is going to actually open the cuticle of the hair, please make sure to do a good conditioning after your brightening treatment, or your hair will be "grabbing" every color that touches it. 😮
That's cool - not bleaching and super easy. If, though, I wanted to turn my white beard a platinum (like Zac Efron had done on his hair) is that feasible and, if so, would it only be realistically performed by a professional? Thanks in advance.
I just got to the point where I can't drink out of a glass, and I had to wonder what I was going to do... A great many of the beers that I enjoy are not bottled!
Will bleach the beard? Unfortunately my beard comes in with Gray, White, Ginger, and blond and the combination on me is not the most appealing.. Scruffy looking.. I'd prefer it all white, silver or very light gray to clean it up. If not, can you recommend a beard whitener? all the beard colors online seem to be geared at removing the grey/white
Hey George, how are? Hope you're doing well and keeping safe. Question: Can I use this while NOT having a gray/white beard as I only have a few grays; perhaps a salt-n-pepper? Is this only for those WITH a gray beard all over and for those wanting it bright?
Question : Will using African black soap discolor white hair ? It clarifies hair & scalp & I Love it & wanna keep it white but I don't wanna darken it or get rid of it ..
@@ListenMySon Thank you.. I just love washing my hair with it - I just kept thinking I have to use something else cuz I want the white as white as I can & I was afraid black soap wouldn't keep it white. I'll use my butter oil blend I make as a leave in conditioner after & it's wonderful.. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays XoXoX Namaste
@@ChadEverhart01 FYI: African Black Soap is incredibly drying and harsh and not meant to be used daily. It was created mainly as a skin whitening treatment by strongly exfoliating skin for people who could not afford stronger treatments like acid peels for skin whitening. But it's only meant to be used once or twice a week to give skin time to heal. Otherwise, you end up exfoliating the new raw skin which can lead to chronic inflammation and infections. And if made in Africa it's preparation is unregulated and these soaps are often filled with ingredients too harsh and even potentially dangerous for skin. There are much better and safer options.. If you need strong exfoliation and clarification nothing works as well as Dr. Bronner's pure castile liquid and bar soaps in my decades of skin knowledge. Their Tea Tree oil formula is especially good for skin clearing, fungus, acne and other skin ailments. Just be careful because they are very strong and WILL strip all dead skin..especially if used with a wash cloth or silicone beard brush. Take care and Namaste..
My problem isn't so much with food staining or even cigarette smoking but with oils that are cooked in when I straighten my beard. Can you straighten and then apply ? But if you do it that way when you rinse it out doesn't it need to be straightened again?
Hi George, I’m glad you did this video. I have a grey beard and I also enjoy smoking my pipes, and my mustache looks like my old blonde mustache whiskers are coming in. My wife thinks my stash looks dirty. Thanks for the tip. Last thing I want to do is color my grey beard with Just for Men in a grey color. Could this be from the smoke from pipe tobacco going up through the mustache into the nose? Thanks for all of your advice, Adam from Indy
My beard is a meduim brown and i have 2 gray stripes on either side of the front of my beard just under the corner of my mouth. I want to color the middle of my beard to the same color. What would you recommend that won't damage my beard??
Can't do this like cooking. Need at least close to actual measurements. Did great on the rosemary oil - 20 drops. And the peroxide is fine - use enough to make it kinda pasty. But the baking soda - how much is that jar you put it in? One cup? More? Less? So we know how to double or triple the recipe.
Thanks for the video - very informative. Do you have any recommendations for bleaching a splotchy vandyke? I've got quite a bit of silver, but it's unevenly interspersed with the remaining black, and I'd just like to go ahead and even it out (and dyeing it black just looks like someone coloured my face with a Sharpie). Thanks in advance.
Hey George...LOVE your vids, they are so informative. As a guy with a silver/white beard, I appreciate your information. One question: When applying this home made product, or any of the others you've posted, should one apply to wet or dry hair? Seems like applying to wet hair would make it cling better and mix in better, but wanted to confirm (or refute) this?
I have a greying beard that seems to be taking forever to change. Is there any way to safely grey/whiten the whole beard or increase the rate of the change?
Finally got a few grey hairs in my beard none on my head yet, just waiting impatiently, thought this might help, over 40, but people still look at me and ask if I'm in my twenties. I may try this in my head and on the hairs on my beard. Thanks
no been using it. if cold may be to stiff. then again just add a bit more oil and peroxide to make it gooier. You want it to spread it to the beard easy not crumble and fall. I leave mine on bathroom self.
So glad to see other people who are white-bearded & proud. Thanks for the advice.
I don’t dislike white or gray beards , I in fact look forward to my Gandalf days!😁

Can you use other oils? I'm highly allergic to rosemary
Thanks. Great, clear video.
whats the list of liquors thats on the table
I want to know which hydrogen peroxide I use?, in market I am getting hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening, for clothes and for food
Hi, Would this work for Platinum blonde beards? I don't know why but at 24yrs old that is the colour my beard grows.
Dry, water fills up the hair shaft and it won't absorb as much. Old hairdresser here.
I have a greying beard that seems to be taking forever to change. Is there any way to safely grey/whiten the whole beard or increase the rate of the change?
Actually not. Or without hardcore bleaching. You can brighten existing gray with the above.
Thanks much, sounds like what i'm looking for.
How far into this do you actually get to the recipe?
Great information! Can a guy with a salt and pepper beard use this to speed up the graying process?
Andrew DiMarco Great question! That’s what I’m looking for as well!
Finally got a few grey hairs in my beard none on my head yet, just waiting impatiently, thought this might help, over 40, but people still look at me and ask if I'm in my twenties. I may try this in my head and on the hairs on my beard.
Thanks
Should the mixture be refrigerated?
no been using it. if cold may be to stiff. then again just add a bit more oil and peroxide to make it gooier.
You want it to spread it to the beard easy not crumble and fall. I leave mine on bathroom self.
I will try that kind sir....thankyou
Awesome info. Thank you. Could you substitute lemon juice for peroxide?
+keith nicole i bet you can! It works well on my linen shirts if i get a stain. Good point! Thanks. Peace
Beautiful beard, Man! I get called "Mr. Kenny Rogers" A LOT! LOL! I will try this to go the rest of the way. Thanks!
