    Description:
Here are why some beards prematurely go gray:
Genetics: There is a relation here with a previous video we posted on our Volt RUclips channel regarding genetics. Your genetics plays a huge part in how your beard (and hair in general) grows and behaves. This could be the cause of early gray beard hair.
Stress: Melanin is inside the follicles of our hair providing color. When we are stressed and we aren't eating right, getting sleep, or eating well, melanin can be reduced causing gray hairs in our beards.
Smoking: Nicotine and the actual smoke produced by smoking cigarettes, cigars, or pipes elevate the heart rate and cause undue stress, this reducing melanin and causing gray hairs.
Diet: Sugar, unhealthy foods, and processed foods can cause us to get gray beard hairs at a young age. When we lack the right nutrients or life-sustaining vitamins and minerals we need, our melanin can be reduced as well.
Luckily the solution is to adjust your habits. Although this may be more easily said than done, it's a healthier way to live. That being said, the immediate solution for a gray beard is Volt Instant Beard Color.

I’m 32 and my hair is basically black and I also have a very strong beard. My beard is very weird in the sense that I have some brownish, reddish, and even blonde hairs on my beard. My beard is also starting to grey on my chin area. To be honest I can’t say I hate it. It kinda makes me look a bit more mature because my body hasn’t changed much since I was in my 20s. I’d be more upset about loosing my hair than having grey hairs.

  • @MyAmazingUsername

Interesting. It isn't fun but I feel like 36 (your age) seems to be a normal age for it. It's genetic and can happen anywhere from early 20s to late 50s depending on you. So 36 is right in the middle...
I am noticing like thirty gray hairs in my beard now at 37. I have been stressed for 22 years every day due to a chronic illness though, and I eat a bunch of sugar due to stress, so I am not surprised that I get gray now too. Stress stress stress.
I guess I'll just embrace it.

It happens to everybody if you look at people who have a fully one colored beard you know it's a dye job.. after 40 ... Men get a gray pattern to show sexual maturity just like other animals have a fur pattern.. I'll take Gray over Bald anyday.. I'm approaching 50 years old a little gray in sideburns, And the side parts of the beard the center is natural hair color it's a pretty interesting pattern pretty typical .. I am growing my beard out for the first time ever.. It's about an inch right now ,I don't think I like it much , Girls seem to like it but I don't, It's a distraction because I'm not used to it I guess

I'm convinced that hand rubbing can cause the colour to wear out as, going for my barber's cut recently, the hair was significantly whiter in the patches that I normally run my hands through, i.e. the right side and side angle of my neck on the right side, compared to the other side. Similarly, my beard appears to be growing whiter in the areas where it sometimes itches and I touch it more often than the rest (lower chin) and the moustache and other parts remain black/brown. People dismiss this idea as a possibility or theory, but I'm sure there's something in the hair colour or nutrients being rubbed out or worn out through excessive contact or the oils of a person's fingers affecting hair colour, especially through repeated, daily contact (either through stress, or irritation or a combination of all factors listed here (non-smoker, however).

Brush your teeth and clean your face after you eat food. Staph infections and bacteria start living there. Stress and if you don't heal at night when you sleep. Don't sleep on your face and don't physically apply stress on your face and mouth which doesn't replenish melanin. You have blood vessel in your skull and face and back. If you sleep wrong, blood supply is diminish to the face and the immune system starts losing the battle.
But food and feeding those bacteria and not killing them off after you eat lets them thrive. And all bacteria and virus love sugar and they poop and piss out acid. Maybe rinse with baking soda after you eat.
