I have been struggling with dryness FOR THE LONGEST TIME but I recently switched from using castor oil to hair grease for sealing in moisture and my hair is ✨THRIVING✨❤️❤️ My hair now retains moisture for more than 3 days and the breakage that I used to experience has decreases tremendously ❤️🔥

The game changer for me is knowing my moisture cycle of every three days making sure I moisturize on that schedule every time, drinking lots is water, and getting my rest each night, and eating healthier. Tyfs these awesome tips.

The game changer for me is locking in moisture and "freezing" my ends with flaxseed gel. This keeps my hair moisturized for days but more importantly it protects my ends from extreme dryness, frizz and breakage.
I ddddrench my ends with flaxseed gel then seal them up with my whipped butter. I then make sure I put them up and away from brushing on my clothes. Has helped me retain my length too.

My game changer to lock in moisture is LCO then plaiting it up and leaving until wash day (once/wk). As long as i don't pull out the plaits, it stays moist. This works for me at this time since I am still working from home.

This is what I've been doing but with mini twists. Once a week after I wash, I unravel each twist, do my LCO routine, detangle, then twist it back up. Doing this method has kept my perpetually dry and high porosity type 4b hair moisturized and my twists always look juicy and full now!

I would like to testify that sectioning my hair is definitely a healthy part of my hair care routine. I also sleep in a satin bonnet and trim my spilt ends and single strand knots as I notice them. I try not to tear my hair ever. I stop and try to figure out how it is tangled before proceeding with the detangling process.

The best example of moisturizing your skin when you get out of shower/bath slather yourself with cream and then smooth on some oil atop that. No ash for a day. Do the same damn thing with your hair.
    Great video as always.
P.S. My game changer was to prepoo with infused onion/garlic oil with massage then a bit of steam with a plastic cap. Literally after three months my fine hair was not only thicker at the roots but longer. I also realize different quadrants of your hair grows at differing speeds.

This is the 2nd time this week that I have heard about "moisture overload". Growing up, my hair would soak up moisturizer so quickly so I always thought that the overly soft, "limp" texture after moisturizing was good to help retain the moisture within a protective style. I know very little about true haircare and am learning sooo much.

I even had PROTEIN OVERLOAD, gurl this mask BALANCED my protein/moisture perfectly, I used go back and forth with moisture and protein, not anymore, I use it once a week when I cleanse and no more playing the balancing game. My game changer has been the Luster’s Scurl Curl Activator spray. I apply it as the liquid before applying leave in. Then I seal with the Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey pomade, which is also another staple. I also use the spray on my braids and to refresh my hair between wash days. As for creamy leave ins, I’m not brand loyal but I prefer ones with silicones and protein.
My medium to high porosity fine hair also loves protein treatments. I use the Aphogee reconstructor every other week and the Aphogee strengthening kit every 2-3 months or when I do braids. It leaves my hair feeling strong yet soft and elastic. And I feel like I retain more moisture.

Tonya the divine indeed!!! 😍 So many game changers for retaining moisture helped me! 1) No bleach; 2) LBG: Leave-in + Botanical + Gel; 3) prepoo & DIY; 4) not letting my med-to-hi po hair stay wet for too long; 5) not pushing my washdays past the dryness limit; 6) discovering that while it's ok for me in moderation, I can't load up on too much aloe, coconut, & flax; 7) using moisturizing shampoos; 8) diffusing on cool with some nice veeedeos to pass the looong time it takes!!! 😂 Thanks, beauty, & have a lovely weekend!!! xo 😘

JBCO, pomades are great for sealing moisture on my hp hair, my DIY Fenugreek spray with parsley, clove and peppermint oil and yes, sections and combing then twist or braids using water based creams all have helped me with increased growth and retention.

I haven't seen you do any videos on safe ingredients in hair color or if it's safe to brush our hair. Please advise!!!!!!

Going back to grease has been a game changer for me 🙏🏼 I have thick high density LP hair and moisturizing wasn’t too much of a problem for me but retaining that moisture was hard until I found a good sealant (thanks to the PMP method video).
Thank you so much for helping me learn my natural hair more, I appreciate you 🌹❤️

My game changer was technique. I now comb/brush FROM THE ROOT to tip after thoroughly detangling. As I apply product, I brush it through to make sure every strand is coated. I also have learned to put my product all the way from root to tip... like for real. And I wasn't using enough product. When I tell you game changer? I mean my hair grew 3/4" in just under one month! All I changed was technique - Not product. My hair is thriving and beautiful! Oh. And I seal with Mimosa Hair Honey. Boom! :)
