Russ is my one stop shop for everything. I could easily by stuff in Queensland, but because of his passion, service and quality of product, I choose to support him instead. Really love his work 👌🏼
Great vid my friend, I’m way down in south Texas U.S. Y’all ship to the U.S.? I’d really love to try some of your local wood chunks on my Texas style brisket. Much love and respect from your friends in South Texas
Russ and Sarah are the one stop shop, and customer service is second to none. If I've ever had a problem, they are straight onto it, keep up the great work.
Great video Russ. My bag of mixed wood arrived during the week and I will be trying the Aussie Oak with some lamb shanks today. Love that you only sell all Australian.
Such an awesome video. Super informative. It’s defiantly a science. What I love is the passion Russ has about his product and bbq and it shows in the quality. Love your work too Aaron. You and Russ have been always been super supportive and I can’t thank you guys enough
Can i use longon wood and rambutan wood. Iam from thailand and these r the too local wood. I can buy oak, hickory, pecan, apple, mesquite, cherry too but it’s very expensive and u can get only 3.5kg of wood chunks in one packet but if i buy hickory or oak they both come in 5kg chunks and log and 9kg logs.
I never appreciated ironbark as a smoking wood until I got a firepit that is just the tub of a washing machine with some holes crudely punched into it.. As soon as I smelled it burning in there I knew it was going in the kettle asap. I'm uper interested in trying some of that nectarine. Cheers and may you have wood every morning for the rest of your days lol.
hi great vid, have you experimented with Macadamia wood ? If so about to fell 1000 large 40 year old macadamia trees. let me know if your interested. We are situated in Northern NSW coast.
Wish I told you about my grandparents pracan tree in Sydney that got torn down by developers. It was massive. Would have filled 10 thousand of those bags.
Great video mate. Looking forward to using Apple next week on a pulled pork for my birthday. Kids will be eating so mild is the way to go.

Hey mate. Being an Aussie business we stick with the Aussie wood varieties. Other businesses have the imported American gear. We've chosen not to. 👍

Sorry mate I’m not familiar with that wood.
Longan wood is used here in lump wood charcoal sold in 10kg by Char griller. I think it should be fine.

Can I use jarrah Wood in an offset smoker to do brisket and short ribs
If it’s seasoned properly I’d say so
@@LownSlowBasics
It's well seasoned 10 to 15% moisture
Awesome video. I’m due for another order so I’ll try a couple of those new flavours. Plus I’m nearly out of Steak Shooter. 😉
Thank you, go the steak shooter
Another great video team. I have some pear wood seasoning from the winter prune. Would you think would be similar to apple?
Yes it is. It's a very subtle smoking wood.

There's no mention in that guide about Hickory wood, is there one on that list that's directly comparable?
I mean, it says it's related to Hickory, but not the shared characteristics
Wish I told you about my grandparents pracan tree in Sydney that got torn down by developers. It was massive. Would have filled 10 thousand of those bags.
Would love to try those nectarine chunks, but can't find them anywhere. You don't ship to USA ?

Ironbark sounds interesting, I wonder what it would be like as a charcoal
Thanks for this great explanation 👍
is aussue oak the same as bull oak?
No. 'Bulloak' is a species of casurina
'Aussie oak' is the common name for s species of eucalypt.

@@russ2354 all good here mate. After watching your video I placed an order to try these new smoking Woods 🪵 👌 can't wait to give them a go 😀
can you use pine sycomore and poplar wood]
My wood came from buypimentowood. I must say, the flavor this brings to jerk chicken on the grill is next level.
