Your music made me so relaxed I was too tired to cook.
Thank you!!! Hope you get some rest!!! Take care! Thanks for watching! 😊
I actually tried you cooking technique with the broiler and the steak turned out great! Only difference was making garlic butter and bathing the steak in it before serving. Thank you for saving me money by cooking a Ruth steak at home :D
Great to hear your success!!!!
I watch your video once a month! Its the perfect tutorial!
Lol...I have to remove my smoke alarms when I use my broiler. Ruth Chris's Steakhouse has the BEST STEAK, hands down. Yours turned out PERFECT! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you!!! I would love to hear your success story!😊
@2:34, according to the Wikipedia article on smoke points (table format), refined olive oil has max smoke point of 470°F. In the same table, avocado oil has a smoke point of 520°F.
Nice! I needed a recipe for tomorrow night's dinner 🍽
Hope you enjoy!!!😊
Can you do their cheesecake?
nice tips Thank you so much!!!
Where did you get the plates from? Mines tend to crack after being under the broiler.
I got the plates at William Sonoma. I believe it was made in France. Look for the description that it can be put into the oven for up to 500 degrees.
@@chsulie Thank you!
Hi , you mentioned the pan was in the oven for 30 minutes before you started cooking
At what temperature is the oven when the pan is in the oven for 30 minutes ?
When you preheat the oven place the cast iron pan in the oven so that the pan will be hot as well. Set the over to 500 degrees
How long did you leave the plates in the oven?
Approximately 10 min... I did this while i was letting my steak rest after cooking it.
Can you really put glass plates in the oven for 350 degrees..I thought it would shatter
Make sure your plates are oven safe. The one that I used is a porcelain plate that can withstand 500 degrees!
Those were glazed ceramic plates. Not glass plates.
Do you actually set the oven to broil or do you just keep it on bake for 500 degrees?
You want to set your oven to the broil mode at 500 degrees
@@chsulie my oven only has one broiler setting no temperature, so I assume I can preheat to 500 and then just switch to broil.
@@chsulie just made it and it came out GREAT! Thank you!!!
@@george2488 So glade to hear another success stories!!!! Please feel free to share this video to your friends and families!!! Thanks for watching! 😊
@@george2488 after you put the pan in the oven did you place your steaks back in the oven for the desired time on each side, or did you put them in the broiler for the desired time on each side?
Good luck cleaning that oven after a couple of times!
Honestly it was not bad at all... The worst is when I do my crispy pork... But the self-cleaning function works really well... It's all good!😊
Thank you!!! Wow using a weed burner!!!! That's awesome!!! 🤣
How much cooking do you recommend if my steaks are a bit thin .. My steak is only 1 inch thick..
How many oz?
@@chsulie 12 ounces
@@jabhatta cook a total of 5 - 7 min remember to flip half way through it. Also, check the internal temp for more accuracy.
I feel it but that technique can fuck up your oven I would do something like that in a bbq
It’s actually not too bad… it is worst when I did my crispy pork belly. I did the self-cleaning right after that. Thanks for watching!😊
Perhaps a thesaurus would be useful.
Tired from the pepper grinding
Haha!!!😁
If I wanted a steak done in the oven I guess this is the way to do it does not give it no taste it’s Dull it is unflavored.. 🤦♂️
Thanks for watching!😊

I’ll give it a try but I have a question. Do you or anyone in your family feel unwell at times. I was blown away watching you play with the raw meat with your bare hands and then touching your salt and pepper grinder with deadly bacteria. Seriously.
