This content is great, for guys who wrench on boats it can help understand things they may have not ran into, and guys who dont but have boats it may help them see how things work and help them get out of a bad jam.
Power pole is the best anchor out there. Best customer service I ever experienced from anything marine related. Picking up a sportsman pole for my tin boat today. Hope It does not have any issues like that.
Keep these coming love it. I got a 2000 mercury 150 xl salt water series outboard 2 stroke I keep getting gas in the small oiling tank on the outboard I got a few new 2 psi check valves hopefully that works. Any ideas ?
We have a guy in Baton Rouge that makes house calls. I only use him for my motor. I have back up pumps, motors and boards. Have you had a strut go bad? My Allison stays pretty dry in the back and after each trip I open the compartments and put a fan on them, but I inevitably get a weeping pole, that won’t stay up(😎🤡) and on two occasions it has been the cylinder that has gone bad. So, I am going to get a replacement cylinder. Now that the crappie brakes are out, the anchor part of the power pole is almost obsolete , with the exception of being the device that drops the crappie brake into the water. So I might switch from the 10 foot poles, which do have way more problems, to the 6 foot poles. What do you think ? I bet you have not installed a crappie brake set yet. Just wait. They are comin
Lol, before I bought my new boat, I wanted power poles on it so bad! Talons, poles, didn’t care which one, just wanted them. Now that I own my boat I absolutely do NOT want them on there. It’s just ONE MORE THING that can and will go wrong that I probably won’t be able to figure out and have to bring it in for service. Talked to some boys at a tournament with brand new power poles, asked him how he liked them, said he hated them! I was shocked, heard nothing but good things, said weeds get stuck in the pivot points, and that along shorelines in river systems you have to watch what your going to be putting them down over top of, said he’s gotten stuck more than one time because of their range of motion. Said he missed his talons. I’m at a point where I want to just fish, and not ever get held up with issues. So not having them on the back of my boat increases my odds of not having to stop fishing or not have my boat on a nice day because it needs service work done to it. Seems like everytime I drop my boat off at the shop the next day it’s sunny, 75 with a 5mph wind.
Team Marine Service checking in!

Is there a way to make that access cover in the splashwell water tight? My pumps are under that cover on my z520L.
How do you intend to solve the root cause of the issue (i.e. the water leaking in)? RTV silicone the Ranger hole or?
I know that boat!
I want to know how you got that motor and pump out so fast. Access to mine are a total pain in the ass
What causes water to get into the pump reservoir??
