Lovin the DIY videos. Lol my son just turned 2 a few months he like a little shadow. Had the biggest little smile when i let him turn the wrench while changing plugs on the jeep. Making memories.
WOW! The before and after of the hydrologic fluid was unbelievable! So great that you take the time to do this stuff yourself and more importantly teach it to your children! 😍
@@reallifelucasblack Cleaned it out this morning. Milky slush in the bottom. Never nice have I thought of cleaning the pump out. And over the years never noticed how slow and weak it had gotten. It will almost raise the boat out of the water now lol. And it’s way faster’ my fast speed before is what low is now. Thanks LB for the thought tip. Now we goin fishin. 🤞💪
I’m sure he hates all the F&F comments but I saw this in the morning and had to rewatch the movie again. You’re the best Lucas, this is super cool to see you living life to the fullest!
Wow my friend last time I saw you young man you was playing a football player in FNL now your changing power pole hydraulic fluid much respect to you young man good for you teaching your kids also
I have been most impressed with you ever since I saw you in the movie FNL. I also admire your unashamed sharing of your faith in Christ, teaching your young men what a responsibility and privilege it is to be a man. Too often today men have allowed themselves to become emasculated and portrayed as idiots and not head of the household. My Dad taught me what real men, especially Christian men of faith are to behave. Gentlemen especially us southern gentlemen should raise our sons to continue to be MEN. I taught my 2 boys who are now the next generation of a rapidly dwindling the awesome responsibility and gift that God gave to us. I am now 59 years old. My entire adult life beginning at 19 has been in Emergency Services. I was a firefighter, paramedic and then spent 17 years in medevac EMS helicopters until just shy of 3,000 patient flights was severely injured getting a 16 year old girl out of her mangled car. Four surgeries and 2 years of PT later, God chose me to become a Chaplain and was halfway through Seminary. My sons are Christian men. One is a police officer the other a gifted jazz musician currently touring the world . My daughter, a good Christian woman just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ole Miss business school and will attend Mississippi State this fall for graduate school. Keep the faith young man, fight the good fight and finish the race. We desperately need more real men like you. Your Brother in Christ- ALB from North Carolina.
Talk about coincidence. Last night I blew hydraulic line off of one of mine. I get to work on mine today. Tip: Keep zip ties in your boat if you don’t have the straps to keep the poles together when going down the road.
@@reallifelucasblack They never break while they’re sittin in the shop where I have all my tools. It’s always on the lake where I have a few zip ties, fishin line, and high hopes
Thank you for this! My reservoir cap broke and cause a leak and allowed some debris to get in. So since I’m replacing the cap might as well do the whole shabang so she’s running clean.
wow, I was like surfing thru some vids and yours pops up as I watch a lot of fishin/boating stuff...I was like, I know that guy...lol...real life brother...glad you are one of the good ones...just subbed
nice to see dad's doing DYI with there kids, don't see that much anymore, so keep doing the videos and I will keep watching, even if I don't have a boat...lol. 😂😅
Great video, exactly what I needed today as my power poles failed. Unfortunately that didn’t fix it so I’m going to be on the phone with power pole tomorrow. I didn’t even realize who you were until after the video lol. Will definitely be following you from now on since we share the same hobby!
That is awesome, thank you for sharing I am a fan of Lucas Black. I have a similar mentality on wanting things done correctly. Awesome life skills to learn from your video.
My son and I have been a fan since Tokyo Drift now that I know you're a hillbilly like me keep these videos coming and I do hear you're on television we might have to check out an episode
An old tooth brush is good for cleaning jobs like that gets in all the nooks and crannies this is exactly what I do with my girls and my son it’s all about family
I watched this video to figure out one specific thing and that was unclear. When all is said and done, you had the power pole in the down position. Did you just hit the up button until the new fluid flowed through the lines and the pole came up and that's it, it's good to go???
I need help rebuilding my late dad’s boat if you ever get bored. He passed away in 2014 and I just found it and it’s been sitting since and everything is rotted.

Massive fan bro honestly 🤙🏻
Good evening
Nice 👍
Awesome. BTW, just watched Utopia, it was phenomenal!
My childhood hero Tokyo drift is always a movie I can rewatch
I wasn't expecting the fluid to be so dirty and especially all that sludge. I'm no boat guy, but hydraulic systems usually stay pretty clean.
It's milky ..it's got fucked gasket
