I used to own an original Traxxas Stampede. I bought the kit version from my local hobby shop, the last one they had. So much fun to build and run. I really appreciate this version even though now my son and I are into crawlers/trailriders. I must say that I loved your video/review. Heck, I love where you live its breathtaking! Anyway I wish Traxxas would produce kit versions of this model. Thank you sir for such a refreshing video, take great care. Greetings from Texas. 👋🏻
Thank you sir. Appreciate that. Building and modding these things is definitely a huge part of the fun. I do have a big pile of parts sitting here to do a TRX4MT build soon. Just waiting on a few last things.😎👊
I'm very impressed with how nicely it flies through the air, it can be difficult finding something that flies so nicely right out of the box. They did a good job with the look on on the body it's sharp, a top contender for sure.
Tools you inspired me. In 08, i bought a couple of totes of nitro rc cars from a coworker, and they have been sitting in my basement ever since. I got the ofna buggie running today! Now, onto the traxxis
That's a beautiful Bigfoot. I like the onboard camera, what kind is it? I've wanted to put one on mine if they aren't too $$$. Comparing the trucks out there it seems like this one is a bit more $$$ than it should be but I do love Bigfoot. I remember back in the late 80's or early 90's we had a shop in our small town that the guy did a lot of custom fabrication which was far less uncommon at the time. One day I saw a truck on a trailer pulling into their shop and it was a small Ford Ranger compact size Bigfoot. It had the classic Bigfoot paint job and was sitting on comically small tires to keep the center of gravity lower I guess. The trailer also had the moster tires as well. If I remember correctly it was called something like Baby Bigfoot, Little Foot or some play on the Bigfoot name. I always assumed it was probably owned by the Bigfoot folks because otherwise they would catch hell for an almost exact copy other than being a compact ford truck. Had a crazy cool mini monster truck chassis and everything. I have no idea what ever happened to it and I've never seen or heard of it since but it was cool to see at the time. This little RC reminded me of it is why I mentioned it. Anywho, I guess I know what my next RC on the wishlist is lol.
Nice! I know they had a Ford Aerostar van Bigfoot too at one time. This camera is perfect because it's so small and does 4k, but it's expensive. It was right at 400 bucks. There are a bunch of cheaper options out there that would work too. I just got this one so I could use it for other shots too. You definitely pay a Traxxas and Bigfoot tax for this one.😆
Looks awsome I have 2 stampeed vxl one I have used up to 6s very easily, but 4s all day just needs dtiveshafts but that one got new shafts but its basically a stampeed which isn't a bad thing at all .body rocks
@TandTRC for sure plenty if power and bolts write in .gets a little hot on 3 s sometimes but geared write 2 s on 3 s system is great .I havnt seen anyone cut the plug off the 2 s motor and run it 3 s to see how long it last .
Nice looking rig Tools, I always loved Big Foot As a kid. Have you tried out the little Redcat MT-18 yet? They are a sweet little scale monster truck for sure. You can add rear steer. I picked up both colors. They are a blast to run in the basement.
I only have one question. Why is this only 1:10? The USA-1 is solid axel at a disadvantage. So why can't any RC brand do this. 1:7 or 1:8 minimum, same suspension as this. This would give big foot fans the best of both advantages. At the moment - I'm still waiting for this. There's always a flaw!
@TandTRC solid axels roll easier & can't perform on bumps as well. I used to have Tamiya Juggernaut 2. So I know this size situation. The older big foot was RWD same as Blackfoot, Monster beetle etc.
They did ban Bigfoot 8 for being too fast, first tube chassis, four link, nitrogen shocks, ect. I saw it in Indianapolis before the strips, I believe it was the debut of the truck. They had every Bigfoot there 1 through 8. It was super fast for the day. I actually went to the Bigfoot shop while 8 was being build, I believe that was 1988, Dan Patrick was the main person building the chassis.
Very nice unboxing and first run. The BL-2S is probably really good for the height it is and is really a good pairing as far as jumping and running the track for stability and handling. My thoughts would be: I have the Stampede VXL with TSM and that truck is great right out of the box. The reason I say that is I sometimes throw the 2S 7600mah battery in it and run it that way for dirt and grass tracks. Super stable and it rips up the tracks. So having said that put the 3S system in the Bigfoot and run it on 2S for your track. Just my thoughts Tools my friend. Be safe and keep up the good RC content. 🏁🏁⭐️🏁🏁
@@TandTRC Hey buddy. Wanted to let you know first Arrma came in I ordered from my local Hobby shop. I got the new Kraton BLX 6S version 6 the new one. Can’t wait to pick it up. 🏁⭐️
Yeah, I can. I was just trying to go the fast, easy route with the pinion change.😂 The more I run it though, I think I might just need to go with a stronger motor. I think I'm right at the edge of giving up too much low end if I gear it up much more with this motor.
you might be running up against the wall with power on the top end. Weight is always a consideration. Just guessing here, I have no idea what the motor is capable of
You should buy yourself the team associated rival mt-10 that's my favorite RC basher and I have an x-maxx ultimate I have a valkyrie I have a couple other RC cars and let me tell you that mt-10 is my favorite if you get a chance pick one up
Yes Sir I liked it in real thing to that's when they starting to be cages. Lol that's what ur saying now. Stomper bully , USA 1. All bigfoots ,grave diggers. Yes Sir good ole Days 87- 95. Yeah buddy. Stay safe from ur ole hillbilly buddy

Appreciate that! I'm definitely gonna be doing some more stuff with this one.😎👊

Gonna have to get me one!
Sweet truck 😎👊
That looks & drives alot nicer than I thought it would! Nice 👍
Sweet little truck for sure. Now I gotta fight the urge to make it a speed demon!😂
Some anodized blue shocks springs and accessories would be sharp!
Yeah, I might have to dress this one up some.😎👊
I like it!!
Very cool truck.😎👊

I haven't but I thought about getting that Edelbrock one.😆😆
Nice truck for sure.I like the way it handles the jumps. I was looking into the hobby in my area and there is nothing. Oh well.
Same thing around here really. I have to order extra parts when I get these things, since there's nothing really close.😆

I actually love the solid axles for the look, but these independent setups definitely give you better bashing performance.

The good Lord has blessed you with beautiful land brother... thanks for sharing n' God bless 🙏
Appreciate ya, brother!😎👊

Nice! I think this body style looks great on this little truck.
@TandTRC it does yes. 👍
Wish It Came With The 3S Velineon System Though.
Yeah, I got one sitting here that I was gonna put in the Mini Maxx, but I might use it for this.
@TandTRC yea id leave mini maxx 2s alone so you dont have to wrestle with the diffs.
Awesome review!
Keep up the great work!

Appreciate that 😎👊

I was thinking that same thing. I actually have the TQI system with a TSM receiver I need to put in something too.😎👊

@@scarifrougeone7225 Nice! I have a couple more pretty cool ones I still gotta do videos on. I'm gettin behind already.😂
@ I think you’re doing a great job. It’s all about the RC hobby, simple, fun and good content. The way it should be. ⭐️⭐️👊
It’s says on the box 40mph + ?
No
Traxxas Hit It On The Money W This Truck. I Gotta Get One In The Future. Slapped You With A Sub Bro. Great Video.
Appreciate that!😎👊
Can. You change your main gear vs pinion. When i ran RC10s changing the main gear made more influence on speed pinion changed torque more

Awesome, where can I buy one ?
I got this one from my localish hobby shop. I see that A-Main has them in stock online though.
Does that come ready to run? Good video truck looks good.
Appreciate that! You still have to get a battery and charger for it.😎👍
you might be running up against the wall with power on the top end. Weight is always a consideration. Just guessing here, I have no idea what the motor is capable of
You're probably right. Seems like my preferred power range is in between 2s and 3s.😆
👍👍

Actually been thinking about that one.😎👊
Man the bl2s brushless system is so bad lol , it’s basically a brushed system with those speeds
You don't notice it too much on small spaces like this, but you definitely do on a wide open run.
😎👍👍👍👍🇺🇲

I upgraded to a hobbywing quicrun 10BL120 with a 3652 4000kv motor
Nice. I bet it moves out now.
