@@chuckduzzie8529 for years youtube took them down for copyright infringements. There was one with James Gandolfini posted and removed multiple times. I haven’t checked in years if they post them anymore. I would love to see this, though

I love that Bradley took the Colbert Questionnaire seriously. With his eyes closed, it was as if he drew each answer from the depth of his soul 😄
Well, he did study at the Actor's Studio Drama School with James Lipton! He heard Lipton's closing interview questionnaire for Inside the Actor's Studio multiple times, so he knows these kinds of questions demand to be taken seriously! 😂

I always liked Bradley Cooper, his sense of humor, fluency in French, acting, but now I see why Lady Gaga cannot say enough about him. He is captivating.
Sorry to burst your bubble but he 's not fluent in French at all. You can say he manages fairly well. But I like him for trying to speak french, and not be embarrassed.

@@sevendays02As a native french speaker I tell you he is NOT fluent. He asks the interviewer to repeat questions in other words because he doesn't understand the question, makes many mistakes and can't find correct words. I'm sorry but to me he manages fairly well like I said before. If that conclusion doesn't fit well with you then so be it. If you want an example of a native english speaker fluent in french check out Jodie Foster. She even uses french slang.

I loved John's response when asked to play Mahler's Resurrection. "We don't have enough instruments for that."
Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” requires 4 flutes, 4 oboes, 5 clarinets, 4 bassoons, 10 French horns, 10 trumpets, 4 trombones, tuba, 6-8 percussionists, 2-4 harps, organ, 60-80 strings, and I didn’t even mention that many of the above have to play multiple instruments. And then there’s also a large chorus and soprano and alto soloists.
So, yeah, Jon wasn’t wrong.

When Batiste said they don't have enough instruments he wasn't kidding. The resurrection symphony needs more than 60 instruments and singers ranging from soprano , alto and mixed chorus and Colbert asking them to play it was lol just lol
If there's any one Mahler they could do, perhaps an excerpt from Mvt. III from the first symphony (the Titan) would be possible - since it's based on Frere Jacques, the audience would recognize it. I know Jon's done covers of several classical pieces - Mvt. II from booth Beethoven's 7th and Dvorak's Serenade for Strings, and a part of Holst's Jupiter have all been heard on this show at some point or another.

I like his choice of Gustav Mahler´s resurrection symphony (No. 2). And he is right, the recording with Leonard Bernstein is indeed phenomenal.

The window or aisle question takes more thought nowadays because when a fight breaks out you're kinda trapped in that window seat while on the aisle you're free to flee or throw some kicks.
I’d rather be in the window seat while that was happening. I’d be sure to limit my beverage intake, though.
Had to try the sandwich...I don't know how his grandfather made them, I went with mozzarella and onion on sourdough, both halves in the toaster oven, slapped together and dipped in olive oil. HELL yeah!
