Agreed, the newer rave breaks are a bit softer but more polished and I still like em just as much. Most people are not so headstrong and the really hardcore stuff they can't get into :P Takes the vibe of original hardcore though and that is what counts :D Been a raver since 92' when I was 14 and while I don't go out raving anymore I enjoy the tuneage.

There was also old skool stuff on it. Some "RUFFNECK" track by EZ Rollers was on it. Super catchy dancy lyrics. Very LA BOUCHE sounding, with happier vibe, and upbeat dancy tunes. This takes my back to when I first heard electronic music. You work miracles man. Long live the nineties! I love your mixes PLEASE MORE!
Completely agree with your comment about moving backwards to move forward... For me, there is much more "feel good factor" to this type of mix than some other hardcore variants.. Back to the old school!

back in 2000/01 nu skool breaks started to sneak into the rave/dance scene. alot of the stuff sampled oldskool hardcore/jungle. Looks as though ravebreaks is the natural progression from that.
This is just amazing to watch. You never get to see the creation process while at raves. I wish I could half of what you can with that board. Lovin' what its all about, keep the music flowin' yo!

Absolutely loving this style of breaks! I love the energy in these tunes. Nice contrast from the usually filthy drops you get from nu skool. Could have the two side by side all mix and it'd sound awesome.
this sound is a throw back to real old rave sound earley 90s !! with a fresh twist and the beat itself is a breakbeat style kinda like old breakdance music beats. harcore and hardhouse have a diff beatstyle but its all rave music woo hoo.
If we had the technology 20 years ago to produce music to this quality then this is as close as you can get to what the old skool would have sounded like...... IMHO
