The camera angle makes it look steeper than it really is. Probably no more than 45 degrees pitch up at most.

because it is - you didn't notice a single bit of exhaust or heat flow coming off either engine? no aileron, flaps, or vertical stabilizer movement in all those extreme moves??? Were did the bright yellow 'e2" on the VS disappear to? It was there when it took off - and when it landed - but disappeared in flight - right??? It fake dude!

@@saito125 Extremely risky, crazy stall angles and speeds, at that low of an altitude, leaves you zero chance to recover if there's any failures.
One thing to remember, airplanes are designed to be able to safely take off minus one engine, and climb. At maximum load. So a 747 for instance can take off safely on 4-1=3 engines. On twin jets, it's 1 engine. Hence the excess of power. Most of the time, flex take off is used (less than 100%) dependung on load, temps, runway, etc.. So back to this example, any twin jet demonstration at airshows is going to get these crazy take offs. They're empty, and totally overpowered, allowing for insane take offs 😊
This Embraer E195-E2 has power and performance to spare! But damn, the Captain is flying that bird like a fighter (with the "rocket" take-off and really tight "orbits")! Any passengers aboard were in for the ride of their lives! 💯👍
I don't think demonstration flights have any passengers. The take off is impressive, but I have seen other videos showing the same thing with bigger planes. Modern planes have abundant power. Designed to be able to take off on one engine with passengers and full fuel. I would guess this plane had enough fuel to give this demo flight and not much more, no passengers, no luggage.
There were no passengers in this flight, just the crew and the official Embraer photographer.
It’s empty. Thats why it has such great climb ability. Very Low weight.
I would be reckless to take off fully loaded with passengers and cargo in such fashion !

Wow, what a nice bird this is. Embraer is really in a sweet spot, also considered the struggling Boeing is going through, with this new aircraft they can grab a significant share of the market. 👏 Oh, and congratulations to @boostaviation3, very smooth and on point filming. 👍
I don't think they compete with boeing in any market segment, this is more of a rival to the airbus a220

That takeoff took my breath away, gluing me to my desk chair. I even said aloud, "Woa, " feeling the G's. I flew all of my growing up years, my father being a pilot, so I know what it feels like to be in an airplane during such a maneuver. Whew! I'm still feeling the effects! Just look at the size of those engines compared to the size of the fuselage and wings. 😍🥰🤪

and relatively little fuel. Very impressive, albeit scary, take off.

This just goes to show how capable commercial jets truly are. The difference between passenger comfort and a smooth ride. And what they are REALLY capable of doing.
Not with fully loaded passengers and luggage…all that weight changes flight dynamics….and insurance claims.
Good to have another major airliner manufacturer in the fold. Hope Embraer does well and wont fall into the abyss as Boeing.
Yeah, don't have your expectations so high.. This is under much different circumstances than a normal passenger flight. This is pushing this airframe to the upper ends of its limits, and there is absolutely NO weight on that plane while doing this. This is also likely a new plane and not a 40yr old plane that has been used and abused. Aviation is one of the most well-oiled and regulated industries on the planet, but you would NEVER see a typical commercial plane doing this type of maneuvering. It would most likely end in a failure of the airframe, AKA wings breaking off from the forces involved. I say this not to imply that air transport isn't safe, but that you will never be on a plane pulling these tight of turns and maneuvers because under most circumstances, this would be a death sentence.

Oh, that pilot loves to take off in that craft. Lovely. Looked quite fun. A near vertical takeoff, a quick roll to flat, and still accelerating. Love it, love it, love it.

Sometimes I get into 2 even 3 flights a day moving from one place to another in connections. When boarding an Embraer there's often a feel that you are boarding a better machine. I can't explain, but the truth is that I feel exceptionally at ease inside one of those newer Embraer jets. They're smaller, you know you are flying economy, but it feels somehow safer, and quieter too.

Knowing how short in height embraers sit, (as i work on the older brother to this bird: the e-190)
And how massive those Pratt engines are, its a miracle and a wonder to me how this plane is allowed to fly.
Im also concerned about the wing atructure. More specifically the wing roots and wing box in the fuse.
Those engines are fairly heavy. And they put out a lot, A LOT, of power.
Damn near fit for a small widebody.

From the front view, those engines looked massive for it's size. 28 seconds take off. heading straight into the sky, 40 seconds later it's already turned around completely and flying right over us, in 4 minutes did 4 passes over top of the camera position, And a sweet livery! Awesome
Pretty airplane. Very beautiful. The way the wings are formed to tuck in its massive engines is very striking and unique.
