I don't care how difficult he may have been, Crosby is a ridiculously talented musician and vocalist...and composer. I am glad I grew up with The Byrds and CS&N, and so great to hear is latest works. True musical giant, I don't care how many mistakes he made.

I put singers like Pavarotti in the "musician" category. Pop and rock singers not so much.

I had a horrible experience with David Crosby at Steven Still’s house in 1968 right after thy gave a concert at the Greek theatre. I’ve never forgotten the incident. I was sitting on the floor with Judy Carne and my cousin when suddenly Crosby appeared right in front of me, arms folded truculently, his shoes right against my legs, glaring down at me. I had never met this guy and had no idea what motivated his obviously aggressive and completely out of the blue behavior. I didn’t want to get in a fist fight with Crosby, even if he was being a monumental asshole. I was a guest. So I just looked down at the floor until he finally walked away. But I’ve always wondered why he did that and why he picked me. As I said, I had never had even the slightest contact with Crosby until that moment.
You were sitting on his drugs.

A lifetime of experience is gold, whether good or bad. There is so much knowledge that can be passed onto others that may well influence rational decisions. Never ignore experience, you may find the right path. I spent the last 50 years enjoying the music, and I'd like to spend the next 50 listening to what advice and tidbits David can share.

True and I lost all my confidence over a year ago after a divorce and and mental health crisis which impacted everything! 😢

My advice to parents , take your kid to a Music Concert, take them to a Music Store , Buy them a Guitar or Piano . Give them a lot of space to do Art , and create a culture of creativity ..
