Non pro models are the most affordable ones for average consumers as everyone does not need a chunky device. Most people need moderate wifht phones to communicate, enjoy content and maybe shoot a few pics and videos of frienda and family.
It's funny. When the iPhone used to have the washed out look due to lifting shadows it was a good thing, but when the pixel does it, its a downside. And when pixel had more contrasty pictures they said it crushed shadows and had less detail, but now that the iPhone does it, it looks better? Just go watch old reviews lol.

I've been using and testing the cameras on the iphone 13 and I'm noticing a little bit of oversharpening and too much contrast in most pictures.
Interesting. Pro photographers say more shadow details with pixel. Also u remember when people hated contrasty pics when Samsung was doing it? Very interesting. Also everyone started talking about inconsistency after MKBHD review. Before that, no one said that.
Pixel 6 user here. Upgraded from pixel 4; honestly, I do find the camera very inconsistent. The regular day/night time shots are amazing but the ultrawide and the selfie camera is quite disappointing for me. Also, the auto protrait zoom does make the subject lose a bit of details.
And the iPhone 13 line has a built in chip that makes it impossible to get a damaged screen fixed by 3rd party. In order for the 13s repaired display to work it must be able to be paired by the imbedded chip. Apple did the public dirty!

That is for security and ISP protection. All OEMs will go this way in due course to protect their intellectual property. Most of us will get insurance (easy on household) or get it done properly at an Apple site. I have not broken a display in ten plus years as I use a case and screen protector.

You spent a lot of time on the camera but didn't mention RAW images. There is some confusion about the file size. Do you know what it is, and what the S21 is?
Got the iPhone 13, very happy with battery life, camera (superb specially photographic styles and cinematic mode) , issue with pixel it’s not sold/supported in country where am residing , but frankly for its price it has pretty good results
Is the screen refresh rate normalized for the battery life tests?

Well all are doing point and shoot in all scenarios. You can easily adjust the white balance, shadow and exposure in pixel's viewfinder which can give best photos and there raw images gives you more flexibility. Apple applies auto face beauty and smoothens a person so aggressively that it shaves the hairs of a man's hand. I don't think apples photographic style feature that cool like you are mentioning....You can change styles later as you want and there are lot more features in google photos. Yes Pixel has improved a lot in videography but still the iphone got the edge because of Dolby vision and powerful processor. Portrait shots in pixel are not as good as in samsung and iphone but telephoto shots are better in samsung and pixel than iPhone.

This is the first video I've watched with the smaller Pixel 6 vs the iPhone 13 and S21. And like the Pixel 6 Pro, the smaller 6 dominates over the iPhone and the Samsung as well. Bravo Google! 👏🏻 Every Samsung and iPhone flagship I picked up after owning Pixels always felt like downgrades, especially in the camera department.

@@wellszhou8286 - YES! Their customer service is an absolute and utter fucking joke. Whenever I would request a chat session (text) with a Rep from Samsung, it would tell me I'm in line and will be XXX minutes before I'm helped. The wait time went down and one time, it said 2 minutes left for 15 minutes, then it bumped up to 10 minutes before I can be helped and that wait time kept going up. It was piss poor service.
Samsungs service is usaully good in my experience (i am from india btw) may be at your location it might be off

You are clearly a bot as that is fake. There is very little between them and totally subjective as to what you prefer and as they are non-pro devices, perfect photos are not the be all and end all. Bravo Samsung and Apple for catching up with the Pixel and no longer are the Pixels the King of photography!

Are we looking at the same pictures? Pixel 6 is at least equal most of the time. Just a few instances where the iPhone is slightly better. Pixel 6 is also $200 cheaper than the other two...
This is the first ever review to be absolutely furthest from the actual truth. To begin with it is frankly that the channel favours the iPhone and the Samsung.
The so called "flat look" is the way pixel's have been for years and that is why it's so admired and loved. The detail test was crap and I quote the s21 really is the best and the pixel is still holding while the pixel photo had tons and tons of info and detail. Samsung's crushed blacks and overexposed highlights are really the worst thing ever, and don't get me started on over saturating the whole image to an actual crazy amounts. I admire both iPhone and Pixel but can't give nothing to the samsung. The fact that a phone with such great hardware takes selfies as ones like i took with a potato or microwave gives me enough to not like it.

Been with apple since iPhone 3 was released. Moving from iPhone 12 to google pixel 6 pro. I must say pixel has an amazing camera and really stepped up their game. Apple is kinda getting boring now with no major changes with same old concept. I know will miss iOS but sadly they are becoming unappealing

Definitely worth it, considering that it's significantly less expensive than during the launch, the hardware and software ,screen, camera are a tad above the iPhone 13

S21+ is actually excellent phone, better than Iphone 13 in most scenarios.
Photos: It's Samsung 60% Iphone 40%
Selfies: Samsung everytime 100%
Videos: iPhone's (especially at night)
Portraits: Samsung has 3x hybrid-tele lens so it's waay better.
Zoom: Samsung 100%
For Display: Both are good but the bezels are far less on S21+. Also the High refresh rate is a huge bonus. Display is also bigger on S2+.
Battery: Both are good.
Performance: Apple pulls ahead in those edge cases. Else S21+ is more than enough for most users(even with exynos 2100).
Charging Speeds: Samsung (Buy 25W charger)
Software: Iphone 13 will get more updates but 4 years of updates on S21+ is enough. After 4 years, your phone starts to look like a relic on Apple's side so it doesn't matter.
*Conclusion:*
If you shoot tons of videos and do long hours of gameplay, then get the new iphone 13.
If you're a user who watch movies, videos, reads articles, play games for 1-2 hrs max, takes more photos instead of videos, takes more selfies & portraits, requires faster charging and high refresh rate then get the S21+

s21 only will be getting 3 android updates and 4yrs security updates, and it already got android 12, so 2 android updates left, better go for iphone if you'r planning for >4 years usage.

Display: awesome
Look: gorgeous
Sound: excellent
Battery: average (6 hours SOT), fast charge
5G: great
Camera: below average compared to iPhone. Oversaturated, over smooth, unnecessary background blur (same shit as I found in samsung s21). Unacceptable color tones
Fingerprint: poor
From iPhone to Pixel: not recommended
From other Android: a great choice
Price: value for money

🙂...would have been great to cost only 600$ ...but it's like us in the eastern Europe we're living in another world far away from the world with decent prices for Google phones.
Believe it or not a pixel 6 (NOT the pro) costs 1023$ in my region.What can I say...thank you Google, we only exist when it comes to collecting data.

Either your photos are mislabeled or we are not looking at the same images. I paused at 4:15 and the Pixel clearly has the most details, followed by the iPhone then the Galaxy. You can see the leaf veins in the Pixel while the Galaxy looks blurry. This is right before you say how much better detail the Galaxy has...

The Pro has a bigger and brighter display with a higher refresh rate and pixel density. Naturally it's going to demand more power and thus have lower battery life. No surprise that the Pixel 6 has a significantly better battery than the Pro. I would agree though that people are exaggerating on social media. People claiming 6 hours of battery are flat out lying.

iPhone 13,s21 are after many updates...pixel 6 is a fresh phone ...this is not a honest review yet...do this review after few months
I believe the Galaxy's abundance of features and customization actually limits its performance and optimization. There's so much that Samsung clearly can't optimize for all the different variations of settings that could be enabled/disabled at a time. I prefer Google's approach with the Pixels with letting Samsung try out all the cool new stuff first before adding it to their own phones in a more sophisticated manner.
Pixel 6 dissapointed me in every aspect, size, photo quality, print sensor speed. S21 and iPhone the best choices.
I can accept any smartphone over ugly notch icrap.
Some of the pixels shots looked like it had better detail on the day time leaves. The P6 battery life for me lasted +7 hours SOT. I'm still sending it back, happier with my s21u

Amazing that this review bogs down the Pixel 6 with a heavy bias. When they show the 3X and 5X Zoom comparisons, they say the Galaxy S21 has the better detail. go to 4:10 and see for yourself that the yellow leaf shows more detail on the Pixel 6. Same for the leaves at 4:18. You can see the S21 blurs at the edges of the frame while the pixel shows a lot more detail on the whole frame. Then they have the nerve to call out the Google Pixel 6 as worse in nightshots because it takes longer to process?! Unbelievable. Of course it takes longer, because it actually processes it to show that extra detail. Better than not to have that detail and have a poor shot. This video review is a joke!

Let's be honest. Pixel is way better phone than any flagship phone in the market.
BUT, they lack support when device goes wrong, the very reason why I am planning to switch to iPhone after using Pixel 2XL 👌 & Pixel 5 ❤️ proudly for years. Samsung phones - high on specs, high on marketing, but not at all close to iPhone or Pixels.
That's where iPhone wins.... It's not as amazing as Pixel, or as gimmicky as Samsung, but very very reliable and their customer service is BEST! While it costs 300+ AUD to fix Pixel & Samsung screens, it costs much lesser to replace iPhone screen, but yeah, iPhone is more brittle too.....
My vote: Had Google provide easily accessible customer service, Pixel is the BEST phone ever.
But until then, it's iPhone the best for all practical purposes that's beyond the device alone.
S20fe might be a better pick imo if budget is close to 500 bucks

After seeing this the normal pixel 6 doesn't feel like that of phone i would spend money on even as a camera enthusiast.
I might get iphone 13 amoung these three for sure considering freaking 5 - 6 years of update, more consistent and best cam and vedio cam imo , that soc and that battery life

I got my pixel 6 a lot week ago....I really wanted a Samsung but couldn't get my hands on one. It's sharp corners and the size make it feel uncomfortable as all hell.....since I'd been using a Galaxy S8 which still works and has an SD slot but bcuz of a
drop the camera got messed up.

I'll be 1st to admit I'm far from being tech savvy but damn I thought I could set up a phone.
The phone hears something on the tv or ppl talking in the next room and it drops what is doing starts calling someone.
Plus the camera end seems heavier and cumbersome.
@@chainamarie03 - I'm happy to say that the random calling of people in your contacts is only a small, isolated issue. It's not a widespread problem like the overheating problems that the Galaxy S21's are experiencing as well as dropping calls and problems with the displays. The S21 has too many hardware and software problems to recommend over the Pixel 6.
Waiting for Apple Glasses so I can cheat in casinos or in school and take photos of hot women without them knowing. Smart glasses will be big. Phones have plateaud.
