But this time round the speed should be as great / greater than the app opening animation which will completely change the way the user perceives the speed. I know its nit picky but once the app opening animation is done and you see a blank white screen for 0.6 -1.5 seconds PAST the 0.75second app animation that's the time that takes away from the user experience, but in 2022 most if not all apps should be able to fully render within that 0.75 second period of the app opening animation taking place which will make it feel instant like never before. Some larger apps will still take time but 90%of the time you'll just have things open 'instantly'. Try it out on your s21 ,you'll see like a split second of a white screen before the content renders and in certain apps even the full interface
Switched from an IPhone 12 pro to a S21, my family was rampant on making me get an IPhone 13. I didn't because I wanted to try something new, didn't regret a thing. I love using it for multiple uses such as work and entertainment, it never failed to impress me one bit! The battery never enters my mind since when I charge it at the end of the day It's still above 40%. Love the phone.

Considering on eBay, Best Buy, Amazon Canada costs half the price of S21 ($250CAD or around $195USD compared to $500+ or around $385USD). The S21 is a great value device.
Samsung’s flagships are love AF.. best display size and better view on Samsung. Iphone has some other better features which are always restricting me to get a samsung although i tried some years back to stick to note 10 but couldn’t.

I did this test on my S21 2 years later and the results are surprisingly close to a new S21, got a 623 single core score and a 2205 multi core score. I bet if I did a clean install it would score even higher
Badly done tbh, but I don't think that it even matters with phones of this level. All that matters is optimisation and whether devs can let these devices use their full potential
i would choose the ip13 or the pro version because of the price market for a used iphone is slightly higher and harder to fall when i want to sell it back if i need some money 😅 and the performance for an iphone can last much longer than the samsung. i've used a lot of phone and from my experience, the performance is much better with iphone. i do like android phone because the price is a lot cheaper with more advance technology than iphone. but if i want to use a phone for a long period of time, i would choose the iphone.

It is to the point now that premium phones don't matter anymore with a speed test. My s21 ultra is set to refresh itself every 2 days at a certain time.It's more about multi-tasking/running two apps at once.
How do they both hold up under heat or continued use pushing the devices. I don't see many tests repeating used over and over which would be more similar to day to day use. For me, even something as going from the Caribbean to the US can affect use (the outside temperature/climate). I'm not even sure how you would test that.
I really like this style of speed test and comparison because it reflects apps that I might actually use in the real world rather than contrived benchmarks.

Me too. I used Samsung from 2013 until last week when I decided to switch from my old S8 to a iPhone 12 Pro. Never been more happy, but unfortunately, Whatsapp conversations can't be transferred from Android to iOS, the only solution being to pay for an app to do that.

These days it's just a matter of question what work's for people and for what they are using it. Yes you can come up like this guy, and say hey iphone is better because is 0.01ms faster than samsung. It doesn't matter. Android is more costumizable than Iphone. For exexmple if you don't need 4 clock widgets with different time zones on the home screen take Iphone. And Samsung is cheaper than Apple.
Oh jeez... The iPhone is very fast and very optimised. I think Samsung adds those low clock speeds to not swallow up the battery power, even with 5nm architecture. I'm looking for forward improvement.

Speed won't improve that much. I have s21 and did speed test against my lenovo that's running snapdragon 635 and there literally is nothing in it.
