Thank you so much for the step by step instructions. I have the LK150 and a Brother standard machine and do very little on them because I need the step by step videos. I have done socks, and did use the bumble bee punch card with the knit along to do a child's sweater. The sweater was a step by step pattern on youtube. Please do more for us to follow along with.
Thank you for taking the time to produce this great tutorial. I have already made 7 of these in various colors for Christmas gifts. I knitted them on my bulky Silver Reed sk155. They came out lovely and I'm obsessed to make more. If I can figure out how to send a photo, I will do so. I look forward to following you on You Tube.
I have watched your videos this is one of the best. Today I follow your step by step instructions and very proud of myself because to see the results. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Anna.🏆
Thank you very much for the step by step instuctions. It looks difficult for me but I will give it a go. beautiful hat indeed. I like the sheeps pattern.
Grazie. Un video fatto molto bene, ti ringrazio. Io ne ho fatto uno con la mia lk 100 ed è stato un po' difficoltoso in alcune righe con tre colori, però alla fine c'è l' ho fatta! Sei bravissima! 😊
You need to add a multiple of 8 stitches to whatever it said in the video (can't remember at the moment) in order for the pattern to work out. So add 4 stitches each side and see how that goes.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! You explain everything so clearly that I have learned a lot just watching the video. I will definetly knit this hat on my LK150. Will you publish this gorgeous hat pattern on ravelry?
You would need more stitches and more rows. Since this is an 8 stitch repeat, you would need to increase by a multiple of 8 stitches to make the pattern look seamless. So, increase by 8 stitches and knit til the whole thing measures about 9 inches. You will have to experiment.
Yes. Depending on the size of your yarn skeins of course. I used 100g skeins and had enough for several hats. If you get skeins that are at least 50 g each you will have enough.
I'm sure there are lots of sheep punch cards but if you want one that will do the three color Fair Isle, you might have to modify one. Otherwise, you could duplicate stitch the face stitches.
Yes for the sheep motif, but it would be a lot more work . You would need a separate ball of white yarn for each sheep and would have a lot of ends to weave in.
Sometimes I do, but usually when I use them to cast on. Since this was an e-wrap cast on and then I hung it, the cast on combs would have been in the way.
@ChristineJoanGallon-g1o I am in the UK and relieved my needle beetle yesterday, bought it from KrisKrafter's etsy shop, arrived within 2 weeks with no import problems. HTH
Brilliant…I’m so excited about knitting this..love all your videos, in fact because you explain so well I gave up on my brother kh260 and bought the LK150 so I could follow you! X
Well, you could make a punch card for the design but it would have to be a 12 stitch repeat. To do it manually this way, the carriage settings would be different. I don't have an SK 155 so I wouldn't be able to tell you how to do it without looking at the machine but it is possible.
I have been trying to join your channel, however, I am having issues with putting in the payment method. I can't get it to save my card or my PayPal. Is there another way I can join?
I have tried several times today. I will try again tomorrow. I so enjoy your videos, I have made 3 or 4 of your hats. I did the Honeycomb hat and put Winnie The Pooh on it... Keep up the great videos!

Great and clear video. Can you please tell me how many stitches you cast on for an adult hat. Many thanks for your time and expertise. Happy Holidays!

Hopefully soon! Thanks!
What a great hat , love it , thank you for this. Is there a pattern for it , for large hats
I’m working on one to put up on Ravelry.
Thankyou for Beanie hat video. My 3rd item on knitting machine
Came out not too bad.not as good as yours but I will persevere.g
That's a challenging project for a 3rd item so I think you did good!
Thank you so much. Is there a way to catch the floats that they are not so long, like in stranded hand knitting, please?
You can pick up the float from the previous row to a non-patterning needle.
Love this! For adults how would you size this up?
You would need more stitches and more rows. Since this is an 8 stitch repeat, you would need to increase by a multiple of 8 stitches to make the pattern look seamless. So, increase by 8 stitches and knit til the whole thing measures about 9 inches. You will have to experiment.
I can not see anywhere to find written pattern for your beanie hat video although it says one available.
It's in the Community section of my RUclips Channel. www.youtube.com/@AnnaHaferman/community
Fund found it
Интересный рисунок, свяжу таким свитерок дочери, спасибо
Thanks for watching!
Hi Anna, I was wondering if you could use the needle beetle for this design
Yes you can!
Thanks so much for this! Just 1 ball of each color for adult size?
Yes. Depending on the size of your yarn skeins of course. I used 100g skeins and had enough for several hats. If you get skeins that are at least 50 g each you will have enough.
Lovely hat! Do you know if there's a pattern out there for punch cards?
I'm sure there are lots of sheep punch cards but if you want one that will do the three color Fair Isle, you might have to modify one. Otherwise, you could duplicate stitch the face stitches.
Fun to watch this machine knit. I’m familiar with the pattern knit by hand. What kind of yarn is used?
The yarn info is in the description.
Love the hat. Where can I find the pattern? I’m subscribed, but I did not see it 8n Community. Thanks!

Not sure if you saw this before can this be done with AG 11 to prevent the floats?
Yes for the sheep motif, but it would be a lot more work . You would need a separate ball of white yarn for each sheep and would have a lot of ends to weave in.
Is there a pattern repeat for making different sizes please ?
The repeat is 8 stitches. If you want it bigger, cast on 8 more needles. If you want it smaller, decrease 8 needles.
Thank you for all you for all your tutorials. I was just wondering why you don't use the bar weights?
Sometimes I do, but usually when I use them to cast on. Since this was an e-wrap cast on and then I hung it, the cast on combs would have been in the way.
Anyone know where to buy the needle beetles in the uk
Kriskrafter in the US is the maker and seller.
Ok fund will do some searching
@ChristineJoanGallon-g1o I am in the UK and relieved my needle beetle yesterday, bought it from KrisKrafter's etsy shop, arrived within 2 weeks with no import problems. HTH

Yarn info is in the description. Thanks
Hi Anna how do I become a member of your channel? I saw a join tab to click on another video but I can’t seem to find one now.
Go to my RUclips page at ruclips.net/user/annahaferman and right by my picture click "Join."
I’ve joined but can’t see how I get the written instructions..can you please explain how to ..x
Go to my page again and under my picture and name there is a tab called Community. Click that and it should pop up.
Also, there's a tab right next to that called Membership and you will be able to see all the written patterns there.
Thank you Anna
Can this hat be done on a bulky machine like a sk155?
Well, you could make a punch card for the design but it would have to be a 12 stitch repeat. To do it manually this way, the carriage settings would be different. I don't have an SK 155 so I wouldn't be able to tell you how to do it without looking at the machine but it is possible.
Hello please can you make a Scarf in the LK 150?
I have a video for a scarf.
Thanks i ll find it!@@AnnaHaferman
What weight yarn is this please?
Yarn info is in the description.

At this point that's the only way. Maybe try later?

I don't use a script. If the way I speak bothers you, then don't watch.
