(Be sure to check the gauge of the yarn you buy. You should make sure that it's a yarn that works with a standard gauge machine. Their stock changes often, so if you see something you want, act quickly!)

As Always Very Nice and Clear Video with very Detailed Instructions and examples!!!!! "KC" stands for "Knitting with Card- marking/sequence step 2". You have to follow the number sequence, with # 1 being the card reader in fixed position, # 2 is set the Knitter carriage round selector in #2, knit to select the needles, then # 3 is to Push Knitting carriage buttons, any of them depending what you want to do from the card- slip, color/fairaisle or tuck, or weaving levers on the sinker plate, and then once the carriage had put the needles into position, you move the card reader to # 4 and continue knitting. Thanks for your time and excellent videos, they are a joy!!!!!
Thanks so much!
Thanks for another very practical video. I have not tried the punch cards yet but you make it look so easy to create beautiful patterns.
This is super helpful thank you so much Anna!
Hi Anna! I am very excited. I watched your video and was able to do this on my machine. Thank you very much!
That’s great! Now you can try out a variety of punch cards!
Thank you, so helpful!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing, it's been really helpful 😊
Great! Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
You are the best, Nadine! Thank you so much!
Thanks for this video. My used KnitKing Bulky came with a very minimal manual. The card reader has been daunting to me. When I did try it I had a messy selvedge problem- it might have been a tension problem. Looks like you had a similar problem. But it did make a pretty tuck swatch. Will have to try again...
Glad it was helpful!
KC stands for Knitting Cam :-)
Thanks! Other people have said "knitting card," as well.
I thought it could be knit count?
Hii Anna, love from India 😘😘
Your puch card tricks are just wow.
Hope you'll upload vdos on other cards also.
On watching this vdo I subscribed your channel.
Love you again ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Hi Anna love your videos! I believe KC means knit Card
Thank you! That makes much more sense than ‘knit carriage!’
Hi! I love this video. I am new in knitting machine user. I have Brother KH 830 knitting machine and I understand, that you have free manual, How to use knitting machine but I can not finde it. Thanks for help.
Here is a link to the free download: mkmanuals.com/brother-kh830-kh836-user-guide-guide.html
Hi Anna! I really appreciate your videos. They really help me. I have a question- for your stand machine: what yarn are you using? I have a standard and I am really having a difficult time with yarns. Enjoy a cup of coffee on me!😀
Thanks Nadine! I am using fingering weight yarn on cones. The ones I am using are on cones. You can still order them online from different sources. I will put some links in the description box soon.
Hi Anna! Thank you for the links. I just ordered some wool from Silk City and then some acrylic from KnitKack. I really appreciate your help. I was getting no were fast. You are awesome!
@@nadinedonovan989 Excellent! Which standard gauge machine do you have?
I have a Taitexma I ordered it from All Brands I believe. It is very similar to a Brother
@@nadinedonovan989 Yes, I think they are modeled after the old Brother machines. I have never seen one in person but they are supposed to be good.
I have question: Do I use No 1s for Brother knitting machines? or do I have specific punch card? and also I use No1s. it is cool but the card does not move every row. Did I do wrong way?
Yes, usually card 1 is the same in all sets. The sets have different letters because all cards are not the same.
I don't know if you did something wrong, but try again. If you go to the longer triangle when you advance the card it will only advance every 2 rows. If you forget to go to the triangle, it will not advance.
Try again and don't skip any steps.
Were can I get the manual book ??
Which knitting machine do you have?
Hi Anna. Great video. What is the Facebook group called please?
Thanks! I put a link to it in the description.
Thank you@@AnnaHaferman :)
How do they make the punch cards?
You can buy pre-punched ones or use a special punch and blank cards and punch them yourself. Also, see my video on how to make them with a Cricut.
KC = knit card Where are the links you stated you would put in the description?
Aha! Thank you so much!!!
I have added the links in the description. Sorry for the delay; I added them all yesterday and then had to re-upload the video, so forgot to add all the links.
I belong to your FB group and have been looking for a download for that card. I have a cricket and would like to cut it out. I can't find it in your files. It is hard with no pictures to reference.
Are you in the punchcard group?
@@AnnaHaferman yes
