- It takes us over 12 hours in a truck on highways, dirt roads, and forgotten trails to get our guys the supplies they need every week. We bring them hay for the horses, wood for their fires, and groceries to eat. We put a lot of miles on our trucks during the winter traveling back and forth and from herd to herd. Although it makes for some long days, we wouldnt want to be doing anything else. Its hard to beat an office view like the one we get on days like this
These are great to watch and gives me an opportunity to show my grandkids what it was like to raise sheep. My father had 5 herds and this is what it was like when I was growing up and brings so many memories back. My father stopped raising sheep in the mid 80's.
Definitely brings back good memories then! Thanks for watching!!!
Awesome video and great accompanying music choice.

Very interesting
Thank you!
Awesome stuff
Thank you! It’s a good life!
How many sheep do you run in your flocks. Does it change from permit to permit. Thanks,
Yes it does! Different times of the year have different amounts of sheep depends on the feed and permit size!
That is impressive. Are those boys working year round?
Yes they are!
Turn that into a dodge commercial!
No kidding 😂😂
Herding sheep would be a lonely job I think. But no one out there to bother you.
You get used to it! I love being out there cus you’re right nobody bothers you 😂😂
Why do you graze so far away from your home? Is this BLM land or something?
Yes it is! We have grazing permits on blm ground! I wish everything could be close but unfortunately we don’t have enough permits close!
