A nice and simple story, Yuto was misunderstood due to his pretending but he eventually got to a high position and got together with Asami in the end which was really sweet.
Definitely an interesting spin on the corporate love story. I really like the interaction between Tanaka and Asami.
And to think that the rest of his colleagues thought he was useless oh boy did she win big when she got him on her team she just won big in general.

Asami was a strict but fair boss and she didn't use her position to keep her Kōhai small instead she supported their groth 😊 That Yuto's former boss only let ideas go through that he liked was really stupid but I guess the guy from the audit department will reveal that this boss is pretty useless 😈 More important is that eventually Asami and Yuto became a sweet and successful couple 😍

There's a fish who can breath outside of water and climb small manglars in Africa, and many sea and river birds dive into water to hunt fish and other water prey

The closer to the end of the story the confession comes, the less dumb the protagonist is about recognizing and accapting it.
If the story begins with it, he will think it's part of a prank or just for temporary fake circumstances until the end.
If it comes by the end, he can figure out the girl likes him and accapt it and ask her out after something as subtle as "why don't you figure out my needs first"

Personally, I think this needs a Part 2, where the people from the product development department try to get Yuto transferred back to help them, explaining that the reason why the department manager wasn't accepting any of Yuto's proposals is because he knew that they were great ideas, but his ego got in the way and he threw them in the trash. The manager instead presented his own product ideas, which were outdated and not popular at all, costing the company money in lost profits. And when the auditing department found this out, they fired the manager.
And with the bad manager gone, they offer Yuto to come back and work with them. But Yuto refuses, considering how poorly even his peers treated him. They literally resort to begging, even grabbing onto his leg in desperation, but Asami shows up and with her intimidating aura and commanding voice, makes them slink back to their department with their tails tucked between their legs.
Great story😄😆😄. Glad that Tanaka's hard work pays off and his bastard colleagues and boss, they got what they deserve.

That seems to be really bad thinking for someone who creates the products to think they can pass blame on another department if the sales of the new product does not go well. And why would you pick and create products to the managers preference over the customers needs or wants. That is an instant red flag for someone in a sales job to begin with as well. Probably why her way of sales was more directly targeted towards the person they were meeting and not the product and it worked. The spin at the end where they start dating was cool as well. Unless they have a major break up that company is set to be top in the industry for sure haha. Number 1 rule in sales is that the customer is always right and even though that statement can very dependign on if someone is trying to take advantage of you or other outside issues, it should be said to be the same for the production side as well.
It seems to me that the manager of the product development department had quite the ego, and couldn't tolerate anyone else's ideas being better than his. So his preferences are for his subordinates to present him mediocre product proposals in order to satisfy his ego. That's why it's up to the sales department to basically save the product.
I could see a sequel to this where the auditing department finds evidence of the manager's egotistical power trips, resulting in lost profits, and they use this to fire him. It would be at that point where one of Yuto's old coworkers begs him to come back to work with them, but because he's happy where he is now, he refuses, even though the bad manager is gone.
There's always something that bugs me about these company stories:
What kind of company is it? What do they make or what service do they provide?
In this story, we have a couple of clues:
(1) They develop and make products for sale to other companies.
(2) At least one of their products has something to do with the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
That's not much information to go on. It could be anything from official forms/paperwork to replace old, outdated forms to medical equipment for use in the home (it does involve the MHW, after all) and it's sold to a company, say like Walmart, that then sells it to the public.
This is just a big hole in these kinds of stories. I wish they would make it clear what kind of company we're dealing with and not leave us in the dark.
In this case, it would help us understand the MC and his situation at the beginning of the story better so that we'll also better understand the problems with the product development department.
Otherwise, this was a good story.
I guess the company's service is only secondary to the story. Also the vagueness of it gives a sense of applicability to apply to any company setting.
It may be too vague for some readers, but the story is something that many could relate towards themselves.
That would add a bit more dimension to the story. However, I suspect the author doesn’t know much about company products.

But research is so easy nowadays with the internet, so I can't understand why they don't avail themselves of such a readily available resource.
But that's the teacher and editor in me.
Japanese companies (that doesn't have much of overseas clients, may I say) are very outdated in business practices, even in comparison with some other of their east Asian competitors. There's a reason why Chinese and Korean car manufacturers are making a name for themselves in occident

The romance ideas feels stick together at the last moment as the character dont show any semblance of personal interest toward Mc besides his working capabilities.

I don't know, a guy working on product development and goin to sales? It's like completely different profession and requires different education. Everything else seemed okay but transferring between departments so easily ? Seems like a major flaw in plot, i would understand if he was transferred to a different location but the same department.
