Nunchaku Shodan- Performance only
A nunchaku kata I created for my students to use as a template. Not an authentic Okinawan Kobudo Kata but inspired by tradition. The practical applications of the movements are not covered in this video but simply put, everything I do here is a strike, a set up for a strike or switching hands for a strike or a set up for a strike. Absolutely flawless and beautiful to watch my brother. I was just speaking to a fellow practitioner here in the desert area who was asking if I knew any teacher who is experienced in weapons, particularly Nunchaku... to which I replied... "I think I may just be able to point you in the right direction ". A reunion at the dojo may be in order :)
