Hey congratulations on getting you emt, I've been a medic in OKC for the past 4 years working towards my paramedic, but yes season 2 is leaps and bounds over season 1
Yeah you can skip reviewing season 1. Just start with season 2. They go hard on that one! Really been enjoying it so far! If you're a fan of Zoe - she ate and left no crumbs! Great to have you back, Buck! Abel, spot on with the script writing technique!

Its about the Korean War and would love to see your thoughts on it. Its often said to be the Saving Private Ryan of Korea. Cheers and good luck with all the EMT, Paramedic and S&R stuff! Welcome back. Towards the end of season 1 its a lot better. But i get what you are saying. Im a paramedic and some of the shows relating to the field make my head hurt. Every call isnt life or death like on tv. We made a person sandwich and a glass of water at 3 o'clock this morning
I was hoping y'all would review this. Review the rest it gets better and better.. Lot of beers action to break down 😂 The newest one blew my fing mind... It shows modern warefare here at our doorstep that needs to be adapted to now... Yesterday 😮
There is a whole, and it is a time-jump that is only referred to in setting and then exposition. I watched it back to see when and how it was indicated, only to find that it wasn't overt enough to fit the pace of the other storylines.
I had the same reaction to it at first. Turned it off after the first 10 minutes. However took a second look and it's pretty good for a TV show. The cold weather SERE school story was my Basic story in 1986. Grass drills to break the ice off the puddles. What fun.
Any chance you guys would breakdown the mini series The Long Road Home? I find it really well made in terms of sets and props, but also heard some nasty controversy about it's authenticity vs the real event.
I will say, the chick in season 2 is far more believable than the season 1 girl. The show lost me in season 1 when they were like, “yeah she can anything a man can and better, even though she’s 105 lbs soaking wet. Plus she’s also a Force Recon Marine with multiple EKIAs and can kick any dudes ass.” In season 2, the girl is a helicopter pilot and her background is so much better rather than some supergirl who’s better than all the guys though she acts almost as unprofessional (as an Army officer) as Zoe’s character.
This video says 2 weeks ago but they’re reviewing old episodes. I really enjoyed season 1. Season 2 was for me though. It had me thinking about getting back in. I enjoyed Taylor Sheridans character. I love how they communicated during the mission in the 1st episode of season 2.
I was about to suggest you do Beers and Breakdowns for this show and I'm glad you did. Thank you. Also, that fast-tracked girl (Cruz) didn't go to CAG in Season 1, she signed up in the Marines and became MARSOC. I believe in Season 2, she eventually became CAG, tho I'm not entirely sure. If you relate this to the JSOC task forces, CAG/Delta is Task Force Green.
I felt this season was unintentionally hilarious. She is this unhinged chick with anger issues who seems super emotionally unstable and has zero experience with undercover work, yet Zoe trusts her for their super secret and important mission to go undercover. Zoe literally blew up her first undercover operative with a drone but somehow she wants to torture our new chick to figure out her limits in case she gets captured..... why??? You blew up the first one with a drone?? To make it worse the injuries of the torture/interrogation nearly get her in trouble when she contacts her target and she has to make up some bs story of an abusive boyfriend to explain why she looks beat up and tortured. I also love how Zoe's wife... ehhhh husband had made a deal with their daughter that she can snuggle with her bf on the couch or whatever but she can't have sex. He must be the only medical professional who does not understand human nature.... And isntead of giving her some condoms they expect her to not be intimate with her bf which (SPOILER!!!) gets her pregnant.... Also unhinged chick first gets beat up in sparring at the start, then she gets beat up by her interrogators, she seems super out of control. Yet Zoe wants her to be their super important undercover operative. The second season looks better though.
Thanks to this I found out season 2 came out! I loved to vibe of season 1, not that I found it realistic but I did enjoy it. I think it's not that we find it real but that, when the hero is thin and seems more vulnerable but is able to overcome that vulnerability and become strong, it's attractive. As for the hand-to-hand combat, I rarely think fights in movies are realistic , especially if it's one person against many or if someone has a knife. Or a size difference.
I don't understand your comment about how they have the husband acting feminine or like the female in the relationship. Bro is a heart surgeon, that not some bitch shit, thats hardcore. Bro is picking his daughter up from school, driving her home, and trying to have a real conversation with er. Thats not feminine, thats grown man shit. Also her being a black girl and not feeling like she can have certain conversations with her white dad is valid. Just like when you're a teenage boy there's certain conversations you don't feel comfortable having with your mom, but would with your dad or uncle. Just my thoughts.
I would be very curious to find what you guys think about the house raid scenes (one where they raid terrorist cell and one where the operators are being "victims" of robbers). Also the highway shootout scene is pretty cool.
Are SEAL Teams using the SIG MCX Spear LT depicted in season 2? We know the Army adapted the SIG Spear heavy, but how much are the LT(light) versions being utilized in SOCOM.
I know this is the Lioness episode but I actually had something to say about the terminal list when Sean was talking about Chris Pratt using his magnifier he actually didn't use his magnifier and most shootouts he flipped it to the side and if you watch closely after the bomb goes off and it doesn't work and he assembles his rifle you'll see him load the mag chain around and he's coming around the corner he'll flip the magnifier to the side so he's actually using just a Red Dot I just thought maybe I know you said it was nitpicking but I just thought maybe if you go back and watch it you'll see
Another great show, guys! If you're looking for new movies to review, how much have you considered international movies? There are some really great / gritty movies from outside the US. Recently watched Bac Nord (aka The Stronghold) which is an interesting French gang crime movie. Might be cool to review stuff like that - theme it up with some French wine or whatever.
I feel like y'all missed that ep 1 included a timeskip. She'd been a marine for 3y by the time she got picked by Zoe Saldana's character. Probably doesn't change your opinion but felt weird you were harping on how fast it went.
So I have watched the current available episodes. Love the show, yes some of the story and dialogue is just odd. So she wasn't fast tracked in the way you think she was, she was picked for a specific reason which makes more sense. The show is a lil backwards, the show is a lil jumpy in terms of the characters but they do develop very well, but her inexperience in this stuff really makes for an intriguing first season. it is a very unique show and how some very cool parts but i do think they went for a little less believable and a lil more Hollywood action
I would like to suggest a TV series called Homeland (2011-2020). It is about the War on "Terror" and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. It is often said to be the American version of the French TV series Le Bureau Des Légendes.
I have to say the humor I enjoy in your vids are similar to KentuckyBallistics and his insaneness, haha. I don't even think half the artillery he fires is legal in the US. He has this 40mm single shot 150 lb rifle that will piece an armored truck, haha. Reminds me of you guys, stay awesome 🍻
So the main thing that is a problem is there is a time skip from the time she joins to the time she is selected for Lioness that isn’t shown. Before she gets selected she already has multiple deployments.
Hello FNG Academy. First I wanna say to congratulations on the passing of your aqualification tests. And I hope you pass the other ones. Now answer my question. So I watched the video talking about different special forces operations. On the channel called task and purpose. And there was a particular group tidal a type of special forces group. And I wanted to know if it was a member of the green beret's or Delta force or the marine force recon. So do you know where third group resides in the special forces? If you were allowed to tell that. If so thank you if not I'll put you understand. Is love to channel love to work keep it up.
I just started watching this show but I think y’all missed where 4 years had lapsed. I think that was in the 1st episode of season 1. Or actually they flashbacked 4 years so no training was done in a month. I was comparing this show to Homeland. I do appreciate your commentary though.
Lioness is actually a good show. Obviously not all of us are operators so we don’t get to understand what they specifically got wrong here or there. We know it can’t happen like that in real life. But generally in convey8ng the excitement and tension it does a good job. Apart from scenes with the daughter and maybe husband I enjoy every minute of it and I th8nk it’s gonna help with recruitment.
A few episodes of season 1 were definitely cringe-worthy but the rest were ok-ish. Though season started off with a bang and so far its been awesome. Tactics are improving so is the acting too . Though I'd recommend you breakdown this new series tilted "The Day of the Jackal". Btw, love this breakdown and it's good to have you back dude. You and Abel make a cohesive unit.. Lots of love from Nigeria. Cheers 🍻
You can't judge a show based on the first two episodes alone. Don't be lazy. Watch the season, and then do a review. FYI, the second season is killer so far.
Okay so there is a movie called ‘Goon’ and it’s about hockey players…it’s the funniest shit but there’s lots of Team Dynamics in the mix, it would be good to see what Green Berets think of it
If this is season two, did you guys miss the border shootout scene in the first episode which show's creator Taylor Sheridan was in? So good. Also, The Way of the Gun still awaits.

I'm pretty sure the Army's Tier 1 unit is in the early stages of transitioning from the 416s to the LT.
I know this is the Lioness episode but I actually had something to say about the terminal list when Sean was talking about Chris Pratt using his magnifier he actually didn't use his magnifier and most shootouts he flipped it to the side and if you watch closely after the bomb goes off and it doesn't work and he assembles his rifle you'll see him load the mag chain around and he's coming around the corner he'll flip the magnifier to the side so he's actually using just a Red Dot I just thought maybe I know you said it was nitpicking but I just thought maybe if you go back and watch it you'll see
Eager to see your assessment of the hot scenes. Especially the cartel hostage retrieval with Sheridan at the wheel.
Another great show, guys! If you're looking for new movies to review, how much have you considered international movies? There are some really great / gritty movies from outside the US. Recently watched Bac Nord (aka The Stronghold) which is an interesting French gang crime movie. Might be cool to review stuff like that - theme it up with some French wine or whatever.
if I only knew pullups were the key to the "fast track". lol
Finally, an honest review
Im absloutey loving season 2. It's much better imo 🙌🏻🔥
Although still a very short time, it took her 4 years to get from the marines’ office scene to the “lioness” program
I would love to see y’all do the Bourne series of movies.
Waiting for you and Kurt to break down the final scene in Civil War.
The Marvel movie? That would be sick.
@@rafaelalodio5116 I think this person is talking about the movie that showed the United States going through a second civil war.
You should do season two
Love you guys
You should get to season 2. I think it gets really good.
Ultimate Force Seasons 1 and 2 are peak.
I feel like y'all missed that ep 1 included a timeskip. She'd been a marine for 3y by the time she got picked by Zoe Saldana's character. Probably doesn't change your opinion but felt weird you were harping on how fast it went.
3 years is nothing, but I get you
Zactly, why I came here. They explained that she had been several tours and such.
@@bwnotredame06 but she was employed as a marsoc raider she says…like right out of the gate…which is BS…especially since no women have passed
Dude…you had me at “mixed kids!” ✊🏿
I'm waiting for a change to binge this show
The thing that tripped me out the most is figuring out Jill Wagner was in this show. It probably took me a couple of episodes to figure that out.
Jill Wagner was in the TV series Blade (2006), right?
@@Okkara-q3b I'm not sure, but she is in a ton of Hallmark channel movies.
Stark transformation. Nothing like the hostess on Wipeout.
I think there is one called "Badlands". It'd be dope to cover if you havent already. 🤙🏼
So the main thing that is a problem is there is a time skip from the time she joins to the time she is selected for Lioness that isn’t shown. Before she gets selected she already has multiple deployments.
Just stumbled across this video, why is the STL Tones monthly update guy here
Hell yeah buck welcome to EMS. Im an EMT going to AEMT school in January and later medic school in later 2025
In the latest episode the husband suddenly finds his spine and takes a stance against Joe's obsession with her work.
Check it out lol.
Review the QRF scenes please
I agree with your analysis of the show, but it was entertaining.
Cheers 🍻
Has anyone seen takluk? Just saw a clip but it looked pretty interesting.
