Audio book? I used ro manage computer departments, was very clever. Now, with cognitive dysfunction i can't remember sentences, can't follow a plot, so, audio books.
To remember any film I need to watch 6/7 times. Or, you'll need to read on a podcast.
Here we have the, Equality Act 2010, America the ADA? So aren't you required to nake a reasonable adjustment? Anticipate the needs of disabled people?
Your ADA prior to 2021 screwed veterans with Assistance Dogs, you call them Service Dogs? Service Dogs in tge UK are more regarded as "dogs of rhe realm, military, police, fire, etc. So, any vets charged to bring a service dog into LHR, you have a case. I've got all the documentation you need. You see, in the UK, mental health assistance dog's are recognised, we have a different definition, rhey are auxiliary/mobility/auxiliary aids. No "task" training required.
Your Assistance Dog International ADI, created this shit, and our shit governments failed to audit ADI, they are not compatible with EA2010. Austria deemed them discriminatory.
Wanna bright tour, service dog to the UK, Land in France and Eurostar over. The bastards now have legal policies, all are accepted.
Her MOS was Spec Ops, obviously. Straight from basic. She found the one recruiter who doesn't lie.
Nah it was 'Kill' for sure, or 'Dagger' lol
The one time the "tip of the spear" line was exactly what she would end up being
Marines do call their DIs sir/ma'am. When they graduate, they start addressing people properly. But they contradict each other in the show.
She's also a Mary Sue. She's too perfect and is a natural at everything. There's no struggle, no character development, or growth.
What special forces group is this show based on ?
CIA.
I literally lasted four and a half minutes with the show, I was done right after they said she completed recon school and got naked...😂😂😂😂
Apparently, FNG Academy just needs to get me to 15 pull-ups, and I'll be all set.
straight to CIA
B&B has such a good ROI. 20 minutes of entertainment here can save you hours of suffering in front of the TV. Thanks and well done, guys.
glad to help!
Leadership matters. Buck listened to advice from a subordinate and then accepted and took-on the plan. Ultimately, it was Buck's decision to listen and then to decide to accept the advice. Failure or misfortune would have been Buck's responsibility alone. No leader has all the answers but surrounds himself with trusted advisors. Those advisors often have the luxury of less pressure and so their brains are more free to contemplate solutions without having to consider other factors.
Fun fact “ The script for Colombiana was based on Mathilda, which was originally written by Luc Besson as a sequel to Léon: The Professional. After a disagreement with the Gaumont Film Company on how to proceed with the film, Besson and director Olivier Megaton reworked the script into a standalone film.”
Speaking of that trash ,when I saw the trailer for Colombina, when she was knocking out 200lb plus mercenaries I checked out
@@IronMikeDyson1979you should watch it, it's actually not a bad movie.
@@IronMikeDyson1979 + megaton and his stupid way how to edit and showcase fight scenes. billions of cuts in nanoseconds. that moron cant make decent looking fight.
This makes me feel like a dummy because I liked this show, a lot. I blasted through it when I saw they did a breakdown. I was so excited to see them come on here and talk highly about it. Damn.
Don't sweat it. All the show is supposed to do is entertain.
Also no offense to Buck but the show portraits CIA Special Activities. He references them as "Special Operations units" CIA SA teams are not special operations, they're fucking CIA. CIA does whatever the hell they want. And the start of the show only has two females, not three. The main lead is a CIA spook, not a door kicker. So this whole jargon about two females in a team of dudes being in the team is dumb. Buck was SF - he knows nothing about what CIA does, none of us do.
I too liked it a lot. I feel its a bit unfair to just watch one episode and slam the show because of that, but I understand they have limited time and patience. Anyway its just their opinion, doesnt have to be yours.
I guess I just liked the actress (Laysla) :D And I didn't think the movie was about military tactics, but mostly about the agent's inner struggle with completing her assignment. When I watch movies like this I don't focus on all aspects of the movie, I just ignore what's stupid and try to view it from the character's point of view. What I would like to know if it was possible for an agent to feel so disillusioned and with no sense of accomplishment after completing her mission, because she had to kill someone (after understanding what he had done and the importance of the mission). Like what is the mindset of a soldier who looses faith in the rationale for the operations they are conducting and how they deal with it internally. I don't think I've ever seen something like this in a movie. Not even a small satisfaction for pulling off something difficult and barely escaping with her life. In many movies it's a mixture of satisfaction and regret (for betraying her friend).
I don't expect many movies about covert agents to be realistic. The movies that I'm finding hard to enjoy now are action movies with many fights (unelss it's like John Wick level), because I'm starting to understand how unrealistic most stuff is. With spy movies, I focus only on what I find interesting and disregard the rest.
Pretty much every person I've talked to that has a profession heavily featured in TV (seems to always be cops, military, law, firefighters and doctors) have told me shows and movies have been ruined for them. My nurse friend couldn't watch House or any other medical show without cringing. My firefighter friend said Chicago Fire gave him brain cancer. Must suck actually knowing how it's all done and then getting completely turned off by the amount of cringe and goofs there are in these shows/movies.
Interestingly, my doctor friend says that he enjoys the medical shows on TV. I guess he just turns off that part of the brain.
It's interesting that some of the funnier shows end up being the most realistic. Generation Kill is probably the most realistic war movie on the planet. And Scrubs (I heard, Im not a doctor) is supposedly one of the more realistic hospital shows
I can only imagine what your fireman friend's reaction to Fire Country would be like. Even CalFire had to make an official statement denouncing the show. Can't believe Max Thierrot left SEAL Team to make that trash.
@@AICW I actually like Fire country LOL. Honestly the way seal team has been these past 2 seasons I don't blame him. It's like an entirely new studio and set of showrunners got it. It feels completely different than the previous seasons.
@@nukiesduke6868 Well I guess it's a small blessing SEAL Team will be ending next year. Only question is how low can the episode count go lol
Bro, FOB Shank was no joke. I still have a piece of mortar sitting in my room that was like inches from taking my fuckin head off. Me and a battle buddy were in one of the shacks like 300 yards from the area with the Haji shops and the main DFAC. We had IDF close, and we scrambled to one of the bunkers. I grabbed this dude hoofing it from the showers and slipped on the gravel. This huge piece of mortar was ganked into the concrete t-wall infront of the bunker where my head was like seconds before I slipped.
13:38 I was never in the Marine Corps but I'm relatively certain that recruits call every Marine "Sir" or "Ma'am," regardless of rank, until they graduate and become Marines themselves. So the Drill Instructor wouldn't have needed to correct her on that, but he definitely would have smoked her for referring to herself in the the first person, and for running her mouth.
I came here to say this exact thing. Thank you!
A Tier one Woman operator? What genre is this? Science Fiction?
ohhhh....it gets worse. And I 100% blame the script. They are not bad actresses and actors. But the story is SO sh*t...
Comedy
she's more like a spy. she spends the whole rest of the money shopping and travelling. And had they JUST made her a spy like 99% of the plot issues would not exist. @@kingofwishfulthinking2490
yea its got a goal
Left wing agenda fiction
Knew it was gunna be shit as soon as I seen special ops in the title haha
Same here, but it was "lioness" that was the real red flag
i'ma be real, my wife and i watched show because there wasnt really anything on, and it was by Taylor Sheridan who did Sicario and Yellowstone and such. watched the whole season and was entertained but my eyes almost rolled out of my head multiple times during this show. and normally never "talk to the tv" but there were moments when it was so bad that I broke that rule.
then saw this video pop up on my youtube recommendations and was like "save that for later cause they are gonna tear this show to pieces!"
buck we need more seal team
Buck I love u man but u have to watch the whole thing man ur off on this one alittle the girl wasn’t a prostitute brotha she was that guys gf and 2 the girls were cia n as u can see one of them was a marine and than became cia
I saw the whole series and somewhere somehow the girl took part in assignments in Iraq or Afghanistan after the Marine training, not only got into this operation apparently, cause during the show Zoé told her that you've been here and there on assignments etc.. so she was overseas before in warzone, according to the show.
The rant that starts at 14:56 is on point. Not many schools came through the units i was in as a 19D so they always did a bullshit order of merit list but the only thing they really gave a shit about was the PT score. After a while the guys that weren't getting 300's stopped trying.
If you ain't Cav...
I actually liked the show. Probably because i was able to set my gender bias to the side. The "agenda" is to show that women can also do what men do, if afforded the opportunity. This show is offensive to people that abide by the social con-struct (of gender roles) they were assigned by people within their culture.
i don't hate the show but also don't like it. you can literally skip 80% of each episode and just watch the parts with zoe saldana and nicole kidman and it's actually decent. the rest of the show is 100% agenda driven whether by the director or the studio.
Yep….All the family/daughter shit is PAINFUL!!!!
@@BadNewsYouNeedToKnowbecause it’s not for men Lmfao….
This show is obviously made for women. I love it.
As my mother said when I was a kid. TV is make believe. So Sean we shouldn't expect Hollywood to give a true depiction of anything.
It IS a disgrace to women. Do agree with you there...but you didn't get to that part yet! The disgracing parts will just be coming up shortly and keep on coming. How are you gonna process the worst parts of the show if you're already at the ''disgrace" emotions! LMAO
I totally agree with the EXACT role reversal. I think that's basically what they were going for, and that's what's the most disappointing about these supposedly feminist movies. NO ONE asked them to just take the worst action movies with male leads and swap the sex of the characters. They're still horrible roles. I don't get why they cannot make good movies anymore. It's so disappointing to have this regurgitated crap that's worse that bad 80s movies.
Can y’all do Six Days next pls?
That would be a nice one!
Wow......i remember a couple weeks ago this being suggested and people telling me how bad it was, but really? How can a show be this wrong?
Easy. Put a chick in it and make her gay and lame.
they dont care about being right... just make money and push an agenda
@@FNGACADEMY Exactly, the bandwagons the best way to make money nowadays.
But as much as you hate it, we love watching tear it apart lmfao.
Wait, I thought the main story happened many years after her basic training. She was at MARSOC or something. So she is not from basic training to tier 1. And she is not tier 1 I guess, she is more like an enabler to a OGA unit.
Truth to be told, they want to write a story of Enhanced CST.
it did, i guess they didnt understand that part
Buck usually misses a lot of details lmao. Not the first time.
It's very fucking clear that she did shit before going to CIA. No matter how unlikely that may be.
Seeing women in these types of roles is like seeing dogs wearing clothes, it just looks silly and ridiculous.
Exactly!!!!!
Yup especially when you realize the military had to drastically lower standards in order for them to qualify. Even after this most women fail to make even basic infantry. There's like zero women in spec ops rofl. MAYBE there's one or two that has more testosterone than half the guys out here.
What would be the point of an all female squad? Serious question
there isnt one... female team members sure but all female squad.. cant imagine why
I don't know how much you watched of this, but I'm a bit disappointed as there are several more military scenes later in the show that I would have really liked to hear your take on (even negative) - when they rescue a prisoner and do a terrorist house takedown inside the US, the interrogation training she goes through, and the final episode where they go after the main bad guy.
There is a lot of cringe and family time that really slows the show down - depends what you are watching for I guess. Maybe I am mis-remembering it but my understanding was that they had an opportunity to go after a major bad guy and no one that had the right look/background so they had to grab a woman out of basic and train her up (I see more training later in the show). Probably crazy and not real but I accepted this is why she was moved so fast into it.
I think an interesting story would be having one female in the special forces unit and having her deal with being one of the first. The show enlisted kinda did that with the female SGT training to go ranger.
Now we need jack ryan
Those women are cia bro n one of them the girl Cruz use to be a marine
Not to nit pick, but that scene wasn’t from Basic Training. It was like a recruit prep training prior to going to basic.
Wasn't she supposed to be a Force Recon Marine or MARSOC. I think the Delta Capt. Said something during her recruitment. I was wondering why she was training with the CAG as a Marine. Kinda made no sense. I'm happy I'm no the only one who see the agenda in these shows.
there' definitely a feel-bad-about-the-Military agenda. But the review got a lot of stuff wrong. Like, I want to defend the real military vs the fictional portrayed but the real military guys doing the review embellished so much that I can't really defend them. If that makes sense... it's just all bad all around now. "Attention to detail" ...yeah, right! pls. it's a joke. The attention to detail is crap.
You can say a movie is bad without needing to make sound like everyone who works in fast food, is the same as prostitution. And the US military is a joke and all your people are terrified of the potential local pimps. That's just really sad, man. They basically just added unnecessary bad made up stuff to the plot. Why couldn't we just stick to the actual plot line and had to make up stuff? I don't know.
I knew a Russian chick that worked with CAG as an interpreter, she spoke 7 languages and was MFF and combat diver certified.
This is the one criticism that is wrong. CAG recruits from every branch. There have absolutely been Marine Force Recon and MARSOC guys in CAG. One of the CAG guys at Benghazi was a Marine. If you can make it through selection, they want you. There are a couple pretty great interviews with Marines who have been CAG operators. Here's a clip of retired CAG operator Todd Opalski, a Marine CAG operator, talking about how it happens.
ruclips.net/video/xOyXb_5kPok/видео.html&ab_channel=DavidHookstead
Marine do attend and pass CAG selection. And CAG do joint training or has some combat support personnel from other units from time to time.
@@sgxxbruce9878 while this is true lets be clear that this happens once every 5 years or so, CAG is full of Rangers and from then on a few other personnel from other branches that get selected IE AF 22nd STS, DEVGRU, none special operations personnel from the conventional Army force and Marine force recon from time to time. Most also think that SF goes to delta but they don't they usually move over ISA and do the field work there for intelligence gathering.
I do not understand it, too. There are so many great real stories with women in war... Why put them in unrealistic male roles? This is just like the "antiracist" United Colors of Benetton poster with a white baby hugging a black one. It feels like the purest form of racism to me.
bc they want a good ''story line" to degrade women with and make the military look like a bunch of a$$holes. all of them. collectively. at all times. Bc they're pretty much all super anti-military. So any military movie HAS to have an obligatory feel-bad script.
It's a solid show if you can stomach ep. 1 lol
Guys the marine is a three year recon vet with two deployments to afghanistan by the time the fob is getting attacked
I love you guys and I love your channel but sometimes you forget that these shows are just entertainment. I fell into the same trap. My girlfriend was like you pick a part these shows and you don’t enjoy them because you don’t just watch them, it’s Hollywood it’s entertainment stop being so critical. But I definitely feel you some of this shit is utterly ridiculous. I loved your synopsis of Act of Valor, that was definitely recruiting ad for the Navy.
I have a theory that able is taking all this time spent with all the sf guys and gaining all these experiences to become a real life John wick.
interesting...
Why not a GI Jane React
There is no GI Jane joke don’t slap me in the face pls FNG 😂
GI Jane for sure
She wasnt in basic training at tht time in movie it was a selection program or something and she wasnt the guy proso she was gf. Did you guys even pay attention and watch it all the way through before commenting
I took it this for what it was propaganda, the only tv show i liked was the Unit
And there dialogue was trash too
But remember gentleman they are in the recruiting business
Soooooo
this thing was heavy with the message
I'd really like to hear your thoughts on Echo 3.
I work for Dale Dye, the Military Adviser for Platoon and Spielberg's and Hanks' shows and films. Anyway, as a Veteran (Combat Medic) I do a show called Millitary Monday, and was going to cover Echo 3, but after watching it, I had so many issues with the writing and the military tactics in it, I gave up. I sometimes wonder if I was wrong in my assessment and would love to hear your thoughts on the show.
I hope Sean finds time to actually finish The Terminal List as the rest of the episodes show why the 1st episode seemed off and why he was acting so strange
Yes, I have waited for this since forever 😂
They are CIA not military special ops. don't know if that matters or not. I think she was a recon marine when she was recruited.
1. That scene was more riduculous because it was a pre-boot test, not actual Basic. 2. He's a Marine DI, they do get called sir.
Glad I didn’t waste time in my life to watch Lioness.
Can you guys do the Foreigner with Jackie chan. He plays such a different character in that movie then your used to. You guys are bad ass keep up the good work!
17:21 What is the explanation for them eating in the dark?
I double dare you guys to review G.I. Jane now 😂 But obvious agenda not withstanding, I wish you guys would have pushed by the speed up intro to the female lead and Mr. Mom sideshow cause this is more of an interesting triller than just another badly written and disrespectful military show; shout out to any SA boys (or girl 😉) who actually sat through more than the first episode !
I LOVED this show, I will NOT be shamed!! 🤣🤣 please do more tearing down of this show!!
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Nicole's enhancement jaw line? :P Like, someone went: "which chin profile would you like?" and she went: "Thanos"... and they went: "Yes".
No one stopped her! loool! why?! ...that is a real mystery, that is.
First and last episode was really cringe. Some really good action sequences and legal consequences.
Buck, this isn't a tier 1 military special operations unit, it's Ground Branch.
You go on a long tirade of her physical fitness (or lack thereof, honestly) and you get so worked up about it that you didn't register the one reading her scores say "99 on ASVAB". Now, I'm no rocket scientist but that's kinda good isn't it?
I agree with what you two said regarding the forced insertion of women into roles they never or rarely will have in real life. Every single movie like that is just wrong for it. However, females in espionage? Yeah, that does track.
And finally, the fact none of you could run a home without it being chaos, you think way too little of yourselves.
I agree Columbiana was better than i thought it was gonna be. Very few women stars can pull off action roles but she did a good job. As for this show haven’t watched it yet
Special ops on the wall....a CIA team ????? also not showing the back....no flanking ?? putting bird in air during attack....with that much time, they would have dialed in motors more than likely
21:00 Thank you for the "The Terminal List" diss. God what disappointment that was. I barely made it through the end episode 2. As if a warzone special-ops soldier can just take that same role into civilian life.
Could y’all do a review of heartbreak ridge?
sure can
Take a break from doing these train wrecks and review TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES with sean and kurt please😊
Paramount took the same m.o. of skipping over the visuals of the females training experiences just like the Hawkeye show and other womanist programming does
Who calls in CAS and drone strikes through a cell phone??? And the only females i saw in anything similar were CA who kind of got attached to ODA and other SOCOM units
How about designing a pack that can be used on the rack/ frame you're selling (if you can do better than the gov. contracts). Turn the Ruck Trainer into a future investment that is not only effective, but also tangible (people like playing with kit). I see people purchasing your product, but not having much use for it after it has served its purpose.
Marines do not have Drill Sgt's. They have Drill Instructors. Never ever call a Marine Drill instructor a Drill Sgt. It is worse than calling a Marine a soldier.
I really enjoyed the show, it's television - further from reality coz reality isn't nice - escapism.
i think another thing u guys forget is, this is the CIA para military unit....its not the actual military.....and she wasnt a sex worker!!!!
This show was trash lol but some of the action sequences are decent. The guns looked cool 😂🤷🏻♂️ that’s about the best I can say lol. The ending was ridiculous
I guess yall missed the timelaspe part....she didnt go staright into special forces....lol Zoe ran down all her experience over the course of 4 years...yal missed that
Been saying it forever. Just make good female characters and write them good. Stop force fucking it down people's throats with with woman empowerment and power trip bs. No one wants it.
Never really seen this show. Never wanted to really.
me either... even the title screamed cringe
@@FNGACADEMY I wish I would have known getting a good physical score would rocket me into super special forces lioness branch.
I am not hating or anything, but I think you should lose the sunglasses. When I look into your eyes, I feel close to you because you are a human. Having glasses on is heavily affecting your charisma which is very big and amazing, but you are making it bad.
First episode is not enough good, thats right. But whole series comes from worse to best graduating the thrill. Watch it full. You'll like it.
This show is far from perfect but you clearly didn't pay attention to what was happening.
I’m not going to watch this trash, but it seems like a bad ripoff of G.I. Jane, which itself was a terrible and preposterous movie.
Marines arent soldiers. Drill instructors not drill sgts. And in boot camp, drill instructors are “sir’s” until after the crucible (except in OCS).
The show has "realism" & writing problems but this doesn't address them. Why waste so much time on how the dad cooks & talks to his daughter? It looks petty.
As a civilian I enjoyed the show, I guess that's because I don't know shit about shit out there in the military, so I can see why knowing all about it would hinder your impression on it. I do think they could put more effort into making things accurate, and not just pushing shit to push it, but like I said, personally I enjoyed it
oof im so happy I didnt watch this after SEAL team Ive been looking for a show and this was so cringy that pull up part did me in
I'll just watch Guardians of the Galaxy. You guy's ever watch the show The Boyz? There's a scene where Homelander assists a unit of special ops soliders to take down terrorists in the most Homelander way. It's awesome!
that show is bad ass!
When he came flying in just as loud as you can be and the soldiers were like please be quiet. He was like "Oh yeah sorry."
I enjoyed this show. Hey guys, baby. I'd like to hear about the show that you liked.
You guys need to breakdown Jack Ryan series or the reacher series!!!
I haven't watched this show, and it was because I saw the trailer, and realised that it a garbage show
Couldn't get thru the first 20 min . Had to switch channels it was so bad .
You people too serious, Taylor Sheridan must be laughing at you by now 😂
I watch this specifically because I can just turn off my brain
Taylor Sheridan is one of the best show and film makers around today (Yellowstone, 1923, 1883, Wind River, Sicario 1 and 2, Mayor of KIngstown, Lawman Bass Reeves, Tulsa King, Hell or High Water, etc) but he DROPPED THE BALL on this feminist garbage!!!
That said, episode 1 is horrendous but it got better.....but not much. Taylor needs a military liason. FNG should reach out to him
You guys ever seen a British show called 'SAS Who Dares Wins'? Its a reality based show where civilians and celebrity's go through SF selection ran by EX soldiers, SAS, SBS, Seals, Marine Recon. There is now an US version into its second season called Special Forces Toughest Test (same show as UK just a name change for US) Its on Fox in the US, channel 4 in the UK. Interesting to get your views and reactions on it.
There's SAS: Australia as well. And SAS: Celebrity as well.
Even the title of the show is corny.
agreed
I would love to see some more video of you do some heavy rucking march or smth like that. Great content. Much love
In my defense, I enjoy watching shows with poor strategy and tactics, and are entertaining, in order to learn what not to do. "The Walking Dead" is a good example, as is this show.
This is so accurate, I saw the guy who was first on our run asked which battalion he was in and he didn’t make it lol
Its entertainment 😂 not everybody is trying to be a hardass about it
That series was a huge let down.
Why are you wearing dark glasses in the dark ??
I thought it was just me...
It has lesbionics though xD
You guys just saved me from watching this smut.
Jeez FOB shank stayed getting fucked up 😂
This is the one time I agree with buck
One thing that really killed me was how Cruz was supposed to be this tough chick who was ready to fight dudes whenever, but pretty much every single fight she’s in against a man she attacks them when they’re not ready or already down after getting hit by another guy, and even with that being the case she loses more than a few of the fights 😂
I thought that was one of the few redeeming qualities of the show. Some 90 pound girl over powering fully grown male operators would have made the show even more ridiculous and agenda driven.
There is no such thing as a tier 1 female... sorry
