Not having done this myself, but just looking at it, I'd assume that if you shortened the studs down on the quick release kit before making your "marks" the bumper would line up properly after your holes are drilled. With those posts sitting up so high, the bumper isn't in correct alignment when you go to make your impression. Other than that, great video, and I've learned alot from your channel.
Hey Josh I'm about to put these on. Did you end up going spring less? Didn't really clarify at the end. Also can it be done without cutting the posts and going spring less? Everything looks relatively straightforward except for final adjustments. That looks like a pain in the butt!
I saw a video before this where they avoided all these fender steps and just drilled holes in existing parts to give clearance for qd spring loaded bolts. Seemed a lot simpler.
Hit up the FB Veloster Owner group and message Ronnie Bryant there - he has them in stock (maybe not all colors, not sure). I got my CF print (hydrodipped, of course) in about 3 days after ordering from him.
it looks like the Tippett site is down. I was wondering if you haave any suggestions where to get the quick releases w/o rubber straps these days.

Anyone know where to find a set of these in 2022? Rusty from FB hasn’t responded :(
