    My left front portal case was striped from factory I ended up dabbing a little super glue in the hole run screw in let dry and it worked for me thought my gears wear stripped at first ended up being the case whoever put mine together was using brut strength nice run and mods 🔥🔥😎👍

      I agree they definitely stripped screws in several of portals from what I have been hearing in comments hopefully some metal upgrades start coming out for the fms trucks

    The wheels and tires make it look more like a trail truck than a modified farm truck! It really did incredible out there and those shocks really gave it the ability to flex to about as much as you would ever want it to. Any more and it would start becoming overly flexible and squishy feeling to try and drive! A++ on the upgrades for sure!!

      Thank you Addam this is proving to be a super capable truck

  • @timcustomrc

    Very nice!! I put a touch of oil in the stock shocks, injora wheels and scrambler tires. Also added 12g of tungsten behind the bumper.
    Bought a 2nd one and used panda hobby links in the rear. Stretched it about 3/8 and converted it to 4 link.
    Very impressive trucks!!

    Green Slim works great in the shocks. We used to use it for our o-rings on our 1/8th buggies. It worked great to keep them freash and sealed. Stuff works good on alot of things, in rc.

    Softer springs and limiting straps on those telescoping shocks will help immensely. Also, I highly recommend the Injora Crawler Master 58mm tires. The Mud Slingers look cool, but they only perform well in mud and sand and the larger size just makes the COG issues on the FCX24 even worse.

    • @AdventureTimeRC
      @AdventureTimeRC  2 года назад +1

      I have the injora on mud tires one of my Scx24 so far I like the rc4wd better softer and more capable I also star cut the foam and these are treal brass wheels really helps with the cg

    Very impressive! I think the usual drivetrain backlash which is common to many models is probably amplified by the additional reduction gears in the portal axles. But, it's acceptable considering the benefits of having them. Wouldn't it be nice if someone could up with a full kit of replacement helical gears? 🤔😁

    Lovely wheels and tyres. Not so good the plastic stripping out, shame they do not come as kit as I always use wax to help stop screws stripping. The articulation incredible :-)

    Very nice mods. I'm waiting on rc4wd stamped wheels to put Scramblers on for mine. I like all of that but would want the body sitting a little lower. It looks like you have the room to do that, not that you want to. Some like the jacked up to the max look.
