I still find it wild how they all co-signed their sister being groomed by Tyga and then acting like Chyna did them wrong for being hurt and upset that her fiancé left her for a teenager.

I dated a guy 4 years older then me when I was 17. I truly believe it was actually a healthy relationship. We did nothing more then kiss. He encouraged me to do more in high-school (sports. Clubs, activities) and talked with me about finding majors and colleges. He never once tried anything sexually during the 10 months we dated. He kept saying we had time and while I was in high-school wasn't it. We ended up breaking up but I feel like it was a rare good relationship with just an age gap. I ended up being single for a few years and found my husband at 20.

I just want to point out that there is a huge sweatshop problem in the US as well. Many people think that US says working conditions and standards are higher than those of an other countries. I used to work For a very expensive NYC fashion line, and I can attest that the ladies making the bags were making about seven dollars an hour even though they were working out of NYC. A bunch of the people making her jewelry were paid zero dollars, because many of them were unpaid interns. No healthcare, no vacation time, and no HR. This happens a lot, especially in NYC and LA, but it happens all over the US

The prom that Kylie showed up to was for a high school in my same district, on the same night as ours. I knew people that were there and remember how much people hated it because of how disruptive it was. Everyone was so focused on Kylie and the cameras, and the people who wanted to enjoy their senior prom were disappointed. None of that is really Kylie’s fault, I just think it’s kind of funny how different the tv version of events and reality is. At least it was a memorable evening!

Fun fact: I went to summer camp with the Jenner girls when Kylie & I were 10 and Kendall was 12 and they were assholes then. I had no idea who they were and I just introduced myself like I would have with any kids and they yelled at me and said "do you know who we are we only hang out with famous people." Um???? And it's only gotten worse with more clout/money/white supremacist backing.

Like unfollowing on instagram and not speaking to them again. They're so image driven I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

I am not sure if you passed them or have to take them but I hope you will succeed in your career. I do not really know much about celebrities but your videos are always so engaging and it is nice to hear your perspective while I take breaks from studying. Would you ever consider making a video about Selena? I feel like she has been through a lot, but I always admired her since I was little, because of her strength and singing, acting, she always exuded kindness and it is hard to do that in the industry.

They both went through a lot yet managed to be positive and decent people, which I see so rarely when it comes to celebrities. I know that people do not view Selena Gomez as the best singer, and I do not think that either, but she was a huge inspiration to me since I was little, cause she was always so nice and she was strong, having a chronic illness like me, plus, her songs always cheered me up, she meant a lot to me as I was growing up. I hope that makes sense, since Ash made videos about Demi, who also worked with Disney.

She is a victim of those same beauty standards, as well as a proponent of them. I think it’s a bit unrealistic to expect a young girl to deny all the _extreme_ societal pressures to look a certain way. Especially when you’re put in the limelight, and it’s kind of your job to acquiesce to those standards.
I've never cared about Kylie or the Kardashians, but I love your way of story telling/recapping events. My chronic illnesses have been giving me so much hell recently, but your videos have been helpful. Take care 🖤🖤
I really liked this video, i alway enjoy these deep dives and there’s so much I didn’t know about her early life. The most annoying thing about the Kardashians-Jenners for me, excluding the infinite number of scammy businesses they’ve been involved in, is the shadiness of lying about their plastic surgeries. The standard they are presenting is just further pushing this unreachable beauty standard all the while pretending its just makeup and working out

These videos are very intriguing as someone who's consistently out of the loop and always at least five years behind every one else.. One thing I appreciate is having a realistic look at the various events and aspects and having sympathy while not dismissing anything actually bad.
I've been (kinda shamefully) following the KUWTK subreddit for the past few months because although I am not a fan of the KarJenners in any way, they are kinda interesting and fascinating as a phenomenon.
This video was very interesting to watch. I forgot some of the stuff from 2013-15!
(I also remembered that the only KarJenner product I ever considered buying was a Kylie lipkit but I wasn't willing to spend 40€+ for that, so I was absolutely thrilled to hear that ColourPop is basically the same products and got those instead for like 5€ lol)
One of the most hilarious cash grabs that surprisingly stuck around for a bit was their clothing line at pac Sun because they seemed so not interested or passionate about it, never wore it, hardly promoted it and it was nothing close to what they actually wore irl.

this is such a great, entertaining video and it seems you do a lot of thoughtful research on every one of your topics and that's so cool to see! this is kind of nitpicky but you mention Malala Yousafzai as having worked on spreading awareness on the topic of education for women in the Middle East, but it would be more accurate to say that she did so in South Asia, as she largely speaks up for Pakistani women, specifically in her home, the Swat Valley. Can't wait to see your next video, it will surely be amazing!

I believe one reason it is difficult to read Kylie because she is quite literally behind a mask. Following in her sister's footsteps (Kim, Khloe) she reimagined herself with plastic surgery to appeal toward an African American market. It looks like those same sister's are now reinventing their own looks, more toward a more white demographic. It will be interesting to see if Kylie will, once again, follow in their footsteps? What is shocking is that they undergo massive surgeries to update their appeal- historically people often used clothing (for one) trends to do this. All the plastic surgery may seriously impact their health when they age. Bbl's look pretty intense & grotesque to be honest. Their self worth and identities will fail them if they have not developed any internal attributes to be proud of. Kim is taking a stab at law, which is one way to intrinsically develop herself, hopefully Kylie will take note.
One saving grace re. Kylie is Stormi- that child is absolute magic!

Kylie Cosmetics I'm pretty sure is just Colourpop Cosmetics with a Kylie sticker on it. Most if not all of her stuff is private label. Save your money, just buy from the manufacturer.

shes interesting as a case bc shes one of the first big influencers on ig and all that (thru kim at first of course) but these days influencers try hard to show every single detail of their lives and be relatable, while she's kind of never done that -- i get that she's not relatable but she seems so distanced that i dont understand why ppl keep putting money into her stuff (which as you pointed out is often outsourced and cheap). most of the time people buy stuff it's bc of quality of the product or that relation to the person selling it. so i have no idea how she's managed it with her most relatable thing being "ppl made fun of my lips/made fun of my looks"

We can hear Kylie talk; as a former teacher, I recognize cognitive challenges in her speech. Long pauses at inappropriate moments in the middle of a sentence, where most people are able to amble merrily along. The only time she speaks like regular people is when she's reading a simple script from a teleprompter. It's wrong to put her in the spotlight at all. We would consider her a vulnerable citizen. She swallowed all the baloney Kris fed her, including illegal and unethical business practices. I don't think she's capable of mentally fending for herself. She is completely Kris's little doll who will bend and pose in any way she's told to.
