I am so glad I found your video! You answered every question I had about installing this in my shower. Thank you so much!!! What drill bit are you using? I have porcelain tile and it is a booger to drill into.
This was great! I'm about to purchase this for my bathroom. Do I need to screw the bottom of the column in since it doesn't seem to pull from a water source? I would like to put a plumbing-grade adhesive pad on the back to attach the bottom of the column to the wall. I would really like to avoid putting screws in the tile if I don't need to. Is that possible?
I’m installing on a already existing shower.. that adaptor that threads into shower head Is deep at that piece barely sticks out. I need to open wall and move that drop eat closer right
any idea why the shower column is not flush with the wall when I install? The top is out further than the bottom when i try to line it up. could that be a symptom of the top shower pipe coming through the wall at a slightly downward angle?
The brass adapter that goes on the wall has threads to allow you to vertically align the unit forward/backwards. Simply thread the adapter in as far as you need to get it aligned vertically. You should see this step in the instructions. Use a level to get it vertically correct. Good luck!
Great advice. We have some questions about installation column and you answered them. Thank you.
Dude. The frequency of these vids- I’m hooked. Keep it up

Depends on what size screw/anchor you are going to use. 😁
@@TodayIWorkOn #10 screw.
Thanks! This was so helpful. Does any Delta shower head model work with this column?
If the shower head is high enough, yes you should be fine. It’s a standard 1/2 NPT install.

A really really good double sided water proof tape, like 3m brand might work. Never hurts to try!
Great video super knowledgeable

Yes. Sometimes older houses have the 1/2 elbow buried deep. That’s not going to work here.

Not flush? Maybe you are not pushing the fixture the entire way in? It should sit flush.
