Two guys in a garage having fun and it looks 100x better than disneys 180 million budget can produce 🤦 they’re ruining Star Wars on purpose

better than any saber duel by Disney period.

That was so damn good! They look like they were 16-18 in the early 2000s, yet they're so much better at acting, choreography, camerawork and believability than Disney

I didn't see this fan film, but this is better choreography and stunt work than anything The Accolyte had. The saber throw kick up was unnecessary, but I'll let it slide.

2:24 Why didn't he use the "Force" to correct his vision problem? 😂 But great video nonetheless👌

Love the Ryan v Dorkman vids, but also really enjoyed the fights in the recent Acolyte episode. I mean cmon, cortosis in live action? That’s an awesome nod to EU fans- it sucks that so much of the online community around Star Wars has become so negative around everything that Disney tries to do now, regardless of what’s actually onscreen

Seeing Cortosis was pretty rad. Fair take.

The fights were so bad. What does Cortosis have anything to do with it. Like cool but it doesn’t excuse the terrible fights. The reason these fights don’t work is because they think more people cooler fight. Not how it works. Make it believable and it’s a cool fight. When no one even attempts to hit anyone and just bash lightsabers together in a fast pace. That’s not a good fight. But yeah, It wAS FaSt loOKINg. Cmon

I just think they’re different things. RvD gives me more of the Obi v Maul fights from episode 1. The Acolyte gave me the closet thing we seen to the Deceived trailer for SWTOR- a dark side force user absolutely wrecking a bunch of Jedi. I want more of both

The new series treat light saber like some sort of bat and staff, while most of SW treat it like actual sword

Remember! Now this (The Acolyte) is not about good (Light) and evil (Dark), but about power...!!! 🤣🤬

2 dudes in a warehouse have a better understanding of actually going for thrusts and swipes AT YOUR OPPONENT. Acolyte could have used them as choreographers and made a better show than what they produced in that crap episode.

In every fight. Even in this one. Why is it no one actually tries to hit each other. Even in the choreography. It’s hit 1 foot above his head or on the side
