Excellent video. Your voiceover style reminds me of Matt Laidlaw from Laidlaw Harley Davidson. Easy to follow.
I bought my 911 two years ago. My first Porsche. It’s a 2021 Carrera S with a 7-speed manual. It’s been interesting to see how the value has remained so high despite two years and 14k additional miles I’ve added to the odometer. It will be interesting to see how its value will proceed in the future now that the 911 has gone hybrid.

Thanks very much! Jealous of the 7 speed C2S! Sounds like a blast. Would definitely hold on to it!

Good video. You did a lot of solid work to create it. Some views from a long time Porsche customer. I think Porsche leadership is completely woke and is very much on board with killing off ICE cars and forcing those customers to go EV. You can see it in the slide where they aspire to move to progressive youngsters and creative types. The old white guy on the left is useful for now but he’s not the future. You can also see it in the Porsche video where the guide and his female partner. She is the progressive youngsters and he is the Tim Cook of Apple wanna be - complete with Tim’s trademark white tennis shoes. About 6 to 12 months ago I considered an upgrade in trims from my 991.2 4s to a gts or turbo s. What I found was sickening. Porsche had gone to a Rolex business model. They made so few cars and all the top trims were bought by speculators who abused the cars for 6 months and then flipped them back to dealers who marked them up $50k and sold them as the only available inventory. There were no new inventory of 911s unmolested. They have also jacked up 911 pricing to help pay for the debacle that is the Taycan. They are now trying to thread the needle in brand positioning as the EV market and the climate hoax is imploding. As AI competes for available electric power the EVs will be put on hold. That’s why the 911 is their way of talking out of both sides of their woke mouths. I’ve bought 5 new Porsches so far; 944, 911, Macan, cayenne and current 991.2 4s. Because I feel Porsche hates me as a customer-seeing me as the old undesirable segment, I’ve decided to go where my business is appreciated. So after nearly 40 years of loyalty good bye Porsche. Hello, AM vantage, MB AMG GT 63s, etc…

Thanks - very insightful comment. I generally agree with you… makes the older models more desirable to me as well. Would be nice to a reversion to normal car buying and lots that actually have 911s sitting to buy.

Nice job on the video. I am on my 5th 911 with the last two being turbo S variants. The jump in price from the 991 to the 992 was the biggest increase I ever had to pay. Certainly a sign of the times.

Technocracy. "You will own nothing and be happy." -WEF
All the manufacturers are doing something like this. This is why there is such a push for EVs. Sounds crazy, but it's reality.

Great perspective on the 911 and how it has evolved! I think the days of discounts on a new 911 are done. It's crazy to see how the market has changed in just a few years!

Thanks! Yes, seems like the last 5 years have sent the 911 into the stratosphere
