Just a thought with comma 3x you provide a centering windshield-specific sheet based on vehicle. That will complete the user installation experience. I know it's a waste of paper but it can be optional. Another option can be a set of 2 ribbons that someone can use with painter's tape.
This would be better with an integration to a rear view mirror, remove the mirror put on the comma/mirror combination. no one would ever notice it there, you could have half the mirror become an LCD display to show whats going on.
just a heads-up, the placement on the windshield you've shown is illegal in almost every state in the USA. is there an alternate, legal placement location?

Hi, I'm from Malaysia, can Comma 3 intall in Toyota VellFire year 2018 come with Adaptive Cruise Control , Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) , Pre Collision System (PCS), and Blind Spot Management (BSM)??
The wheel and the pedals already have the hardware to control those. All this hardware does is hijack the control signals for those that the stock lane assist/adaptive cruise uses. (Assuming you have a car that's compatible with openpilot)
OP v0.7.1 was released on 20th of Jan. 2020 with C2 support. OP v0.8.7 (will be released) on 31st of Jul. 2021 with C3 support. For me, it is too soon. Especially when we can only get Snapdragon 845, not the latest 888. And the price ..... Hmmmm ... I really doubt that you will have more C3 buyer than C2.
Too expensive, compared to C2. U expect people will upgrade from C2? I dont think so. Only new adopter. Why now stereo cameras, few months back George said that stereo is not necessary, where he compared human, Subaru's EyeSight, etc. One more thing, only Snapdragon 845? Why u guys like to use 3-4 years hardware? Why need to highlight Samsung SSD in your page? Good job on moving to navigation. I dont think I will upgrade my C2 to C3.
can you read before comment? the cams are not for stereo although he admit if his theory failed the hardware is ready for stereo. And the other you should read yourself.

I don't remember a warning about curing for 48 hours with the comma 2. Did something major change in that regard?
The last thing someone wants to do after this arduous install is wait 48 hours to use it lol
Hopefully they will find a different adhesive that cures quickly. 48 hours is excessive.
Any way to speed up the cure with a UV light?
