Ooohhh! Thank you! Also, appreciate the edit - as much as I like to be “perfect” I’m definitely not!! Any requests for inks or color families you’d like me to compare?
Hello and thanks for the video! Personally I prefer the Galen Leather Everyday Notebook in Cosmo Air Light compared to their Tomoe River Everyday Journal. I get more sheen and ink properties show best on Cosmo Air Light. The old Tomoe River that I have in another notebook is even better! So for me: "old" Tomoe River >> Cosmo Air Light >> "new" Tomoe River. The only downside with Cosmo Air Light is that you HAVE to use a sheet under your hand when writing to avoid putting down hand oils else when you try to write where there was oil the ink simply does not "stick". Also if you like Tesla Coil you might want to give Octopus Fluids Unicorn a try, I LOVE that ink. I think the blue of Unicorn is a tad lighter, but not by much.
I had someone previously ask me not to use Cosmo air light because it isn’t being produced however I think it’s a great paper for comparison! And, as long as Galen leather sells it, and other companies I’m sure, might as well enjoy it!
I have Polar Glow from Diamine that reminds me of these. Beautiful.
Yes! I have that one too - I think that has a base blue closer to the lighter parts of Tesla coil - and now I want to compare those!
Ruby Blues. Plural, IIRC. Thanks for the video. Other inks in this family are Organs Studio Nitrogen and KWZ Sheen Machine.
