Such a beautiful song from the past , I have not long lost my darling husband after 63 years we had been to see this film and I can still feel that special kiss he gave me that night when I play this song thank you for posting it x
The song was a hit. The film was only moderately successful at the box office. In fact, J.D. Salinger, whose short story "Uncle Wiggily In Connecticut" was adapted for the film, was SO disgusted at the way it was sentimentalized and "watered down", he vowed NEVER to allow Hollywood to adapt his stories again.
She was/is such an amazing singer. She's 92 now. Still with us :)

A beautiful walk through the past, I can almost smell the flowers from the houses on our block.
My god she can really sing. This is just wonderful. Love the choir.
A lovely version that gently lingers. Carson can really turn it on when she wants to!
My maternal grandmother loves this song
