Arguable, considering his back catalogue one if not t he one singer songwriter this country has ever produced , I include the Beatles in this .never looks back always challenges his audience
Absolute Beginners. A total turkey. Patsy Kensit. From the Colin McInnes novel about 60s Lomdon. A favourite writer of Paul's but sadly the film was very poor.
The original song was called "With Everything To Lose" and it was a track on the 1985 album "Our Favourite Shop". It had a heartbreakingly beautiful lyric about the oppression of the working class in Thatcher's England and all around the world. ruclips.net/video/8VP9rz2wKcc/видео.html
What would you rather have done with your life ? Do, see and achieve what Weller has , and look liked you've lived ? Or do , see and achieve what you have done and look as young and virile as you do ? It's a rhetorical question by the way ...
@@Mod-rw9cw nah , not my type......love the guy in other ways though lol.......just wondering why you mention his appearance so much in your comments on a few different clips ? You could have been a girl with posters on the wall back in the day and still yearning for yesteryear?
@@Mod-rw9cw I know what you mean about getting older.......unfortunately the alternative isn't much of an option though.... just enjoy the music and thank God he hasn't gone the way of most famous faces over 35
This guy literally guided me through life, thank god for that
Pure magic from the best singer song writer out of the UK absolute genius
Excellent! Always loved this song...and pretty much everything Paul and The Style Council did!
Great song/tune
What a voice what a voice ❤
Wonderful song that was in the movie "Absolute Beginners"
His voice is terrible, he can barely make the notes...
I was there. Fantastic concert. ❤️ All of them such talented versatile musicians.
Always loved this since Absolute Beginners and was fast this show. Anyway, I've written about it in my Weller/SC write up stevepafford.com/weller60/
I envy you 😢
Great tune from the mod father. 😎👍🎶
Great tune best version of this song loved it first time I heard it but this is pure brilliance
Fantastic!
💚
Grande Paul!
Master composer
Sem palavras, muito bom , fantástico
Yes!
Fantástico!
Top shelf x
👍 😍 💪 💪 💪
Cracking..😁
Pretty, even if you miss the horn section and the rhythm is not as pressing as the original. It seems to have been played with the handbrake on
Tuneeee the god of the mods
Thanks dx
Come on he jumped on the mod wagon he treated the other two mods like shit

Band sounds great but I do prefer the song at the original tempo. I put the video playback speed on 1.25x, makes it sound right.
A long way from Milton Keynes
He's not from Milton Keynes.
With Everything To Lose
Love the man. At some time you have to take the earrings out and let them remember you at your best.
Mr Weller looking old but there again so am I only a year younger than him but to be honest he looks a lot better than me
Alan Mahoney looks better the older he gets 😘😘
L'Oréal don't do cigarettes and alcohol .. but if they did ... :-D
+Alan Mahoney...that´s exactly the words I wanted to comment...he looks so great with the longer hair...
I'm 1 year older than Mr. Weller and he proves that cool doesn't have anything to do with physical age. Thanks!
Ever had it blue., Yeah....
He just better with age like a creative
With everything to lose!
Why did he rewrite the lyrics?
he changed it cuz it was a sound track to some film but i cant remember what that film was now

What lyric was changed? I only know the song from the movie 'Absolute Beginners'. I never realized it was written before it.

What has happened to paul weller he has aged is ther something going on behind the sene
People age everyday
Even Paul Weller's 60 year old gentleman now.
@@ChainNonSmoker Gee, I turned 60 last month. Don't look anything close to that. Weller must have done some hard living to get that wrinkled.
What does his skin complexion have to come into it 🤷🏼♀️ as am sure Paul would say , “Fxxk off you prick !

Paul is starting to look like Keith Richards. Don't smoke and take drugs kids. Also he has lost too much weight.Still a legend though!!
But you don't fancy him any more ?
