Great song. Did a great slower orchestrated version too. Read it's a tribute to genius songwriter Curtis Mayfield and a song about nuclear holocaust. So predictable!

Ive been a fan of weller since the early jam days. I met him backstage in early 84 in his SC days, great down to earth guy and genius. Not too sure he wud appreciate being bothered while he was drinking his tea in a cafe though.
@@carouselcakes6237 maybe u were respecting his space and privacy, but its a classic case of being caught between 2 stools. U r dammed if u do, dammed if u dont. As long as u have no regrets, but im sure he wouldnt have minded if YOU approached the great man.
@@colingeddes2172 Just couldn’t do it. Besides being nervous as hell I probably would’ve burst in to tears if he’d rejected me. Nope, spending an hour & half, three feet away from him, is a memory I’ll have to treasure forever lol.
