- Daryl and John guest hosting classic videos on MTV, 1991. They are joined by T-Bone and Bobby Mayo to perform the acoustic versions of "Out of Touch" and "Say It Isn't So". Transferred from VHS. The quality isn't the best, but it's still good.
This just showed up on my feed; hard to believe this was 32 years ago. Loved seeing TBone ❤️🙏🏼; and Daryl’s hair-just gorgeous. The banter between Daryl & John shows the chemistry they had. Thanks for posting; totally enjoyed watching. 👍🏻

I was one of the kids who excitedly stayed awake to see the premiere of MTV in 1981. Little did I know how it would change how we receive music. I remember this clip! Thank you for sharing!

I taped this when this aired, it's wonderful, they did a few things like this for MTV back in late 1990 and 1991, I think they did MTV's Hot Seat, in addition to Unplugged, I think they hosted a show on MTV that aired for a week, it aired at 11pm or 1130pm Monday thru Friday, maybe it was Classic MTV (this program). It was great! But after this....MTV barely touched them, and they were considered VH-1 artists because they were older I guess.
Yes, I posted another episode they hosted. I found more on my VHS tapes but the quality is really bad on some of them. I have Hot Seat as well.
