Manufacture recommends on small diameter pipe you do half then spin the tool 180 degrees then finish to keep pipe from splitting

Yeah what it really boils down to is time saved. We save so much time on bends, flares, and swages with these tools it's insane

I have the 2 cfm vacuum pump that I pair with a trublu hose and it’s awesome.

Have you used a bigger pump with the same hose setup? What do vacuum times look like if you compare the two? The main reason we haven't been using it much is because our Fieldpiece is 10 CFM

@@SurfBrosHVAC I’ve never needed to use my larger pump because I get down to 400 microns in about 6-7 minutes. The only times it takes longer is when I only replace a coils and have an empty condenser. Those take a little longer. I bought the extra battery so it’s no big deal to swap batteries. It’s awesome when I change something on a package unit because there is no line set. It’s so fast.

@@SurfBrosHVAC also. I use the one hose method. I could probably do it even faster with two.

The flare is honestly amazing. I really like the benders too but yeah the flare might take the cake here
