I really like this type of video from you. I have both of your free IR packs & use them every day. It was cool to hear you talk about them more in depth & how you use them. I'm going to have to try some of those combinations out. I also prefer audio Assault plugins to some of the more expensive ones out there. I have every amp sim & bass sim they make. I use them on every project. Thanks for the cool video & in depth exploration of your IR's.
Yes. AA plugins are top notch. Opinions on Reamp Studio? love it but know its shortcomings. Res, would love to see more chill 'n chug vids. Always enjoy watching people just talk and play while going through various situations they record in. It's a heap of fun. Cheers
Sounds huge! I have to say that your IR packs are a great platform for blending and messing around to get some massive rhythm and lead tones. Didn't realize the Barefoot and RG packs could be blended but will do that now lol. Audio Assault + res IR, count me in. Cheers
You might have noticed that I use the Barefoot 1 for ALL of my rhythm tones, but I've never thought of mixing them with the Red Giant. I've literally just finished recording a new track, so I think I'll be doing some experimenting with this ASAP 😁
AHM has so pleasant "grain", liked it a lot! Blending different speakers is a really powerful tool for creating some unique tones - I stole a few very useful tips about it from Kohlekeller =) Great video, thanks man!
Great to know there are no phase issues with these. I've tried the weirdest IR blends and phase issues are the only thing stopping you from blending IRs. I even tried 3 IRs per side with LeCab2 and yes it's a good way to get a nice bottom end, crushing mids and a non fizzy high end. I prefer it over blending 2 different amps because loading IRs is much easier on your CPU!
Lecab always crashed on me unfortunately. Most plugins shouldn't take up much cpu so I do like different amp and IR either side. No phase issues even with other packs, I'm sure there's some pack out there that won't play nice!
QUESTION TIME!!!! (Sorry to bother you and I'd understand if you just ignore this) I recently got my Sessionette 75 amp fixed but the speaker in it is screwed. It was standard Celestion 85watt from the mid 80's. The amp has more a Classic metal/Hard rock blues sound than a modern amp.Do you have any suggestions on a new speaker for it?
Those IR are the shit!!! So chunky and heavy!!! One of the best around, even comparing to paid ones!!! EDIT 1: Barefoot is my favorite, btw. EDIT 2: If you keep making them, don't ever EQ them, they are too sick to be processed!!!
This AHM is truly awesome! Very cool tones ! Those IR's are also really nice!
Cheers dude!

That sounded awesome and huge. Very tight and chuggy. Always loved the EL34 more, even tighter
Never tried blending IRs from the 2 separate packs, cheers for the idea mate. AHM sounding killer as always.
It's defo worth a dabble cheers!

@@resington ah yes, I have a revision 1 version of LeCab2 that kept crashing on me too, shame it's been abandoned and has no x64 support.
@@ayeapprove all le pou is homeless now yeah, real shame.
Your IRs sound great. Is there any chance you have them at other sample rates? 96khz please
Thanks and sorry dude I don't.
Man, sounds huge ! Just as good as some 50 € paid packs. Any plans on a Creamback pack ? That would be awesome !
Thanks. If I can get my hands on more cabs. I'll make more packs.
