Which attributes apply most, then, to the long Furby's selection of pet? Being low-maintenance itself, it is unreasonable to expect a Furby to take responsibility for a high-maintenance pet. And as humans enjoy the energetic lifestyle of most pets for the interaction and bonding this facilitates, it is most probable that the Furby desires a companion as sedentary as itself with whom to share long, wistful glances at the world and silent judgement over the sins of mortal beings. In short, the Furby desires an inanimate pet; a pet rock of course comes to mind, but are there superior options?
We have not addressed the tactile or aesthetic concerns that, for example, lead humans to prefer puppies and kittens over the naked mole-rat. And, if one spends as long staring into the void and shallow husk of this world as a Furby, surely these are important considerations. The long Furby, specifically, lacks arms with which to interact with a tactile pet and has only small feet. They cannot be separated easily, but at least in the long Furby's case can be raised without unbalancing him. This Furby, then, desires a pet it can stroke with its feet and--given the firmness of those appendages--has a less-than-subtle tactile surface. Fur is unlikely to appeal to such plastic limbs. Anything of the gelatinous or gooey aspect will not suit its furry expanse. Instead, the ideal pet will be a construct of such substances as bubble wrap, tinsel or silk. Coarsely knitted or woollen pets, such as a pompom, may suit too.
Into what form should such fabric then be wrought? What is the aesthetic desire of the long Furby? It would be tempting, of course, to extrapolate from our specimen's plaid-and-black nature some general themes. This would be a grave error. So rarely does one's hair colour or skin tone dictate one's choice of colours beyond one's own wardrobe. Instead, we must understand the soul of the Furby, and what appeals to its nature. @@magnificentpup2875 Furbys actually tend to make a loud high pitch whine that they use to communicate with each other. A lot of neurotypical people can't hear it but if you are sensitive to stimulation and stuff then you likely will hear it. But they do make whirring sounds but they tend to be less irritating as you know where they are coming from while the high pitched whine is less natural. That kind of noise can induce nausea and anxiety
