Dyllen you are amazing at this. You don't just explain but you give us examples and that makes your advices so much more helpful. You are a literal angel for me. I have 7 days left for my ED deadline. Hopefully, I can edit my essays properly. Thank you so very much. Update: I got in my ED2 school, Smith College.
i was literally just struggling to write a supplement about how I deal with challenges, then I saw your notification pop up, watched the video, and helped me immensely. thank u for your incredible constant support. i tell u all the time but thank u
Hmm, it really depends on the topic and what you feel comfortable sharing. Since you do have my essay course, I did list somewhat dangerous topics to avoid so as long as they aren't those then it might be fine!
yes! Everything can be found at dyllennellis.com/collegeapps/ I handle grammatical errors, sentence structure, clarity issues, suggestions for cohesion and making connections, overall feedback!
Thank you! And absolutely I’m planning on it! When would be a good time for that vid in your opinion? I felt like it might be a bit early to start talking about interviews
@@DyllenNellis As for me, I might have an interview in December, so I would be very grateful if you could make a video in the near future. And I guess others can check your video if they want later as well. But of course, I don't expect you to talk about something that is not so topical yet. Do it the way you feel good. :)
Hello I have a question about the recommendation request on the common app I went to a summer program at Morehouse, should I list the Program Manager who I asked for a letter as an” other recommender”
Please help. After submitting my Common Application I realized that I have made a typo in my common app essay. Instead of using improve I used improving in the last sentence. Should I contact the admission office and ask to resubmit the essay? Or will it just pass? I am really worried that it might get me rejected as school will see it as a careless mistake
Hmm, in my opinion, I don't think it's worth it to contact the admissions office for something that small. I think that's something that will just pass and it's definitely NOT an automatic rejection! But I do recommend asking your college counselor at your school for their advice.
