    • @Corcioch
      @Corcioch 4 года назад +4

      Craghoppers make more budget friendly clothing. Patagonia and other leading brands invest a huge amount of time and money in R&D, R& D into products that work better, last longer and in Patagonia's case, are far far more environmentally friendly/ sustainable.
      Sure there is no comparison between the cost of Craghoppers and Patagonia no . . . . . . . . but there is no comparison between their products either . . .and I own both.

    • @cristianorellana5633

      In live in a dry cold area, so I decided for hi loft over regular down sweater. Fill weight for hi loft is good, about 177 grams, so keeps you warm even if you are standing.
      Only issues are related to size/fitting, Im 5,8 ft (1.73 mt) and 140 lb and Im using medium size, but it is quite baggy. Small size was slimmer fit, but sleeves were too short. Regular down sweater was a more accurate / better size than hi loft.

    Any suggestions on Micro Puff vs Nano puff?

    • @TechGearClothing
      @TechGearClothing  5 лет назад

      Personally, I would go with the Nano Puff. They are very similar but the Nano has pockets and as far as I have looked, the Micro does not. Also, the Nano puff is near $50 cheaper (depending on where you look). The Micro does look a little nicer imo but not $50 nicer. All that said, I'm more into functionality and deals overlooks so you need to take that into account as well.

    • @TuckerGood

      Patagonia employee here. Micro Puff is better over all. 100g lighter, packs smaller, and warmer. The plumafill insulation tech is newer and proprietary whereas the primaloft in the nano is just about everywhere nowadays. It has a better loft but requires less stitching and support keeping it lighter. Yes it has pockets, yes it comes with a hood. Fits a bit tighter as it is more technical than the nano puff. Only “down” side I can think of is the outer shell is thinner, so not quite as tough. Much better under a shell too. Hope that helps!
