  • Episode 7.0: Power . Generators
    Purpose:
    For Module 7, we will be looking at all things power and power-related. This can include many, many things, so we will be starting off, like usual, with the basics. In Oxygen Not Included, there are many ways to make power, as well as organize it.
    In this particular episode, being 7.0, we will go over generators, how they work, and some of the issues that come from them, such as heat and CO2. We will also be thinking about what happens when you run out of a particular resource that a generator may use. In later modules, we will tackle specific generators in more depth, since this module serves as a foundation for making power.

    I have figured a lot of my Oxygen Not Included knowledge through Brute Forcing potential solutions. I am going about this guide in the same way, which is as non-technical as possible since many new players who pick up this game may end up feeling overwhelmed.
