You're very welcome
Was donated this machine and did have issues with attaching the embroidery foot. Thank you for the demo. I understand now however, what is the lever on the foot for? Patricia-South Padre Island, Texas
The little lever that sticks out of the top of the foot, if that is the one you are referring to, it goes over the top of the needle bar. That is what makes the foot have it's spring like action when stitching.
I just practiced I had the wrong thread the first time. Now I need to understand the right tension. I just did another practice. It is better. I bought a box of new brothread. It is perfect. I am making aprons and bought craft aprons from Michaels. I did not have to use stabilizer on this craft apron. Let me know or send me a link in the tension setting. Right now I’m in 4. Seems ok.
The programed recommended tension setting is 4. You will have to watch your tension in the stitching because it will vary slightly from design to design. Sometimes it can be just one little click to the left or right to make it perfect. Also, the New Brothread is really great thread in my opinion. You may find If you join any machine embroidery groups on Facebook they will bad mouth the brand because they will say only the top notch more expensive brands are what's best. I don't have that kind of money to spend for thread.
I figured it out. I needed to put cap on left side of spool of thread.
i lost my screw so i was wondering if you knew where i could buy a replacement
Yes, you can look on a website called Sewingpartsonline.com. Just search by your machine model and a available parts list will come up. I just looked and it's called a presser foot screw. It'll fit a brother and a Bernina and the price is $3.99
I think I’m still doing something wrong 😣it’s still not lining up correctly with the needle .. I followed each step
Darn it. Take a deep breath and walk away for a few minutes. Then come back and try again. Make sure you have the little part pushed in and then stick the foot up into the opening so the foot isn't hitting the machine. Then angle the foot around the presser foot bar so it goes onto the screw. Also make sure you have the screw loosened up enough for it to go on. I hope that helps 😉. When I first tried putting it on I literally sat there for over 30 minutes.
@@jenniferssewingandcreativity thank u!! I’ve been working on it for days now & broke a few needles but I will try it again ❤️
@@cricutobsession88 You're very welcome. Try taking your needle out while you do it. It will give you a bit more room to maneuver your hand.
@@cricutobsession88 Also, make sure the regular sewing foot mount is removed from the needle bar. I know I tried to mount it one time without taking that off
@@jenniferssewingandcreativity yes ma’am thank you
